BLACK STAR makes BBQ. Actual BBQ. Smoked, tender, meats. Ketchup based sauces with drippings. The portions aren't GIGANTIC, But the bowl for a single person is filling enough, sharing is a decent snack.

The BBQ BOWL i had....Damn Damn Damn.the briskets was tender and well seasoned and smoked, the cowboy beans absolutely 1880s and the greens were good...not the traditional style I'm used to....BUT they were well cooked and flavorful....next time I'm in point Richmond....I'M GOING BACK!!!

BBQ is awesome, live music was great and it's family-friendly.
Pt Molate is like taking a trip back to a time where people were caring and considerate of their neighbors because they know what they have is like Shangri-la. An oasis away from the daily grind just over the hill.
Extra points for that old school Burning Man feel, without suffering 50 mile per hour dust storms and 100+ degree heat. LOL
