Bun cha? How bout bun cha cha cha. Outstanding. Been craving this northern Vietnam dish. They do it right here. I was in Hanoi for the holidays and found my goto here in the bay. Wish they were open Sunday’s. But I get it……
Been coming here for years, even back when it was just the single room, but the quality has dropped way off in the last couple years. It’s by no means bad but isn’t what it used to be. The younger waitstaff is kind of off putting in a I’m just waiting for you to finish because I’m annoyed or bored sort of way. The older aunties are very professional and quick. Next time I go I probably just won’t order pho anymore, but they’ve got lots of other tasty dishes
This is most definitely one of the better Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to lately in the East Bay. Not only is the food well prepared and delicious, the prices are very reasonable. The beef pho noodle soup stock was flavorful, and the grilled pork bahn mi sandwich’s were great! If there was a weakness, the Vietnamese iced coffee was good but could be better. Our overall impression was we would most certainly come back.
