Ten Ren has been out-of-stock on my favorite teabags for the past two months. I am a fan of the blend of Chrysanthemum and Pu-erh. In Cantonese dim sum restaurants, this is known as Gook Bo. I wrote to Ten Ren back in February and they responded that it would be back in inventory in April. It is now available on their website for $10 for 40 bags, a great price. The problem is I do t want to pay $12.10 for shipping on three boxes. So we got in the car and drove to Richmond, where they have a retail store. Unfortunately, there are signs in the window offering close-out discounts because this location will soon be closing. Inventory appeared to be sparse and my tea was not in stock. I need a cup to tea to calm down now.

I come here pretty much every time I stop by 99 Ranch. Their store is across from the grocery store's large entrance. I remember when I used to buy my Ten Ren boxes of bagged tea at 99 Ranch, then run across the way to Ten Ren to get a fresh milk tea on my way out. IT NEVER OCCURRED TO ME TO BUY MY TEN REN BOXES OF TEA AT TEN REN. Yes, I'm hitting myself on the head over here. I finally came to my senses when I realized that the prices at Ten Ren are slightly cheaper AND they had later expiration dates. They also carry so many more teas here - from boxes of bagged teas to loose leaf to premium teas in the tins. My all time favorite tea is Ten Ren's Jasmine Oolong so I always have at least a few boxes of those. But I've also never had a tea of theirs that I didn't like. It's always good quality, even for the cheaper bagged ones. (20 bags for $3.50.) I wish there were more Ten Ren locations in the Bay Area, especially ones with a cafe attached the way they have them in SoCal. But I'm really glad this one is nearby, always has my favorite tea in stock and never seems to have a line. Woohoo!

I remember an older gentleman that was running this store. He gave me a punch card for every drink that I got from there. After he retired that wasn't anymore punch card. Ten Ren Tea has been around since Pacific East Mall opened. I think this store has been open since the mall open up for business....I think this store and 99 Ranch Market are the only business that been there since the beginning. I love the Strawberry Green Tea. It is the drink that makes me relax when I am at Pacific East Mall. Try Ten Ren Tea when you are at Pacific East Mall.

Great tea flavor, but subpar boba. This Ten Ren is located as a separate shop in an Asian mall next to Ranch 99. I ordered a honey green milk tea with boba and did not make any sweetness adjustments. Ten Ren is known for their great tea and the jasmine green tea flavor definitely came out in the drink. However, the boba was lacking. Texture was ok, but overall was just bland and flavorless. The drink itself also was not very sweet and was not milky/more watery. As a tea drink, it was refreshing and I enjoyed it, although it is not what I would want to drink if I was craving boba milk tea. Major pro of this place though is that the base drinks are only $2.99! That price is almost unheard of nowadays for boba. If I came back, I'd probably just get the drink for the tea and skip the boba.

Great tea, and awesome boba. My favorite drink is the roasted milk tea with boba. Subtle sweet, but not too sweet

I had high expectations since the location in Cupertino never disappoints & is one my favorite tea shops. It was hard to find the location (for someone who isn't familiar with the area) -- it's located inside of the mall & is across from 99 Ranch. Although the drinks are extremely cheap (~$3.50 for a small + boba), it was so disappointing. The boba was rock hard & unsweetened. Also, the jasmine milk tea was honestly just flavorless & extremely bitter (probably burnt the tea). Overall, it was just not pleasant to drink at all & I ended up trashing it not even halfway through.

Ten Ren is known for their tea so I'm not surprised that their tea for their milk teas is smooth and flavorful. The pearls would be the deciding factor and they were soft and sweet! I have had their regular black milk tea, brown sugar milk tea and almond milk tea. My favorite would be the black milk tea and brown sugar milk tea. I normally order the large size from Ten Ren and the almond milk tea was too sweet for me to order a large size. This is my new favorite boba place when I'm in the area. I would definitely recommend it!

Lucky me came in at a bad service. 2 Asian ladies very unfriendly staring at me as if will kill me if not make my decision in 3 mins. I spoke in Cantonese hope to receive some warmness she replied with broken English. What a slap in the face. Give me a break! It's COVID-19 and I was driving back and forth under the sun have some understanding these ladies are very drama-ish. Headache!!! Eyes piercing at me... Hell you are giving me a headache. I will never return to this kind of business. Additionally boba tea just doesn't give me the satisfaction anymore. With 5 bucks I can buy boba and make my tea. Side note 8.10 spent. It's COVID-19 make the service and drinks worth the bucks... would it kill you to deliver a ounce of friendliness??? I don't get ppl like this as if being rude is cool. Plus there was only us soooo give me t I m e. Give those damn eyes of yours a break!!! VERY RUDE service and people

I stopped by after going to 99 ranch market for a post grocery shopping boba. I ordered the white peach tea with boba. It was pretty good! The flavors reminded me of those Asian yogurt drinks in the best way possible. In the past, I've gotten the passionfruit tea with boba, I also recommend that one!

May I say , I drink a lot of tea . But nothing compares to Ten Ren Tea. I visited the tea establishment after having a sushi lunch with my wife & friend . We wanted something to top off our sushi visit . We ordered the basic black milk tea with tapioca balls (cold) and hot ginseng green tea. The tea was actually pretty good. It tasted like real tea . It was refreshing and freshly made. The store is also filled with different types of fresh tea to take home and serve hot or cold . I will have to go visit the store and purchase fresh tea to take home. I would recommend this tea place for anyone who enjoys boba , great tasting tea and natural prod

Ten Ren Tea Co. is known for their tea, not for bubble tea. they use concentrates to flavor their tea(s), fyi. offerings: dried teas. tea drinks, limited bubble tea.drink: lemon green tea (L. 4.40) -nice honey taste with the strong taste of jasmine tea. definitely 4 stars. if it had passion fruit or white peach, it would have been a concentrate or puree, a different taste and a turn off.drips:-go for the pure oolong or green tea or other artisan tea drinks here, get the fancy bubble drinks elsewhere.

TenRen is definitely one of my top boba places for sure! It originates from Taiwan so you know the tea and pearls will be authentic. It's in a shopping center next to 99 Ranch so a very convenient location.I got their standard Black Milk Tea with boba almost every time cause it has great tea flavor! I often find the tea flavor to be lost in a lot of milk teas, but that's never the case at Ten Ren. The boba pearls are also the perfect chewy texture. It's also nice that you can customize your sweetness levels here!If you really enjoy the tea brewed here, they sell all of their teas in this store so you can make some for yourself at home too!

I usually love Ten Ren but this location is just ok. They're open during COVID for walk in ordering and they do get their drinks made pretty quick. It is a tea shop, so expect your drinks to taste more like tea and less like sugar. That said, I think their drinks are not well balanced in sweetness to tea and sourness to tea levels. I got a roasted oolong milk tea and it was just ok--the tea does have aromas of an oolong but lacks a lot of flavor and sweetness. The White peach green tea is their special and it was way too sour. I think I'll stick to the Cupertino location, who always gets it right!

Came after SIP COVID-19,There's never a line in here. Even before COVID-19.I've been here a few times and I finally found my favorite drink. The black sugar milk tea!So good, you can taste the sweetness and freshness of the tea leaves. Definitely coming back for this drink. The roasted oolong is alright, I guess, I'm not a fan of the strong roasted oolong taste. The regular black milk tea is good too.I also like coming here because they take cards. They are quick, clean, and the drinks taste good. Oh, they also recently upgraded there cups! They have pink hearts as toppers. SO CUTE.

This is one of my favorite boba places in the south bay. Their drinks are really consistent, prices are decent, tea is of great quality, and service is good. I like that you actually can taste the flavor of the tea in the drinks. I went here closer to the start of the pandemic and I was really impressed with their social distancing protocols. They didn't allow more than one party inside the store at a time and were making drinks as they were ordered. This caused the line to take longer than usual, but it was worth it. Highly recommend.
