I've had better service than today's experience. $17 for a basic bacon, turkey and ham club with minimal portions is disappointing. $5.99 for a side salad, $3.99 for an Iced tea $29 for lunch, isn't worth going back for. Then additional tip expense. Multiply that by 2, over $60 for coffee shop food, no justification in my opinion.”

“Had a great atmosphere with a wonderful crew. We were welcomed in and greeted with smiles. They have a great selection of mimosas including non alcoholic options. The menu offered a lot of healthy options. The chicken pesto sandwich was a hit.”

“Today, i've made my first trip to this plaza after moving to Riverbank. As I was walking to my car.I saw above a refreshing image.So I decided to enter the pokebowl.

The first thing that caught my attention when I walked in was the way the staff greeted me. Since I am very picky on the process , the staff was patient and were walking me through all their drinks.To help me choose the right one, I thought it was very helpful and very kind on their part.

However, there was one thing I was very concerned about when I was paying.I noticed that when I was going to select the tip.The young lady skipped through it and when I asked her I didn't get the tip.She says we don't get Tips, I said why not? She mentioned the manager does not give us tips.I was very upset when I heard that.That is the most crucial thing anybody can do is not allow the staff to get Tips, So I went out of my way and gave each girl ten dollars. For the building owner who wants this building, it is not fair for staff not to get tips when they work very hard throughout the day.They work warning shifts and nightshifts and do all the handling preparing the food or making the drinks and it's very unconsiderate of them to not let them get any tips please help me spread So the staff can start be able to receive tips. Shout out to the young ladies who helped me out today may seventh around around 6-7 pm”

“Great variety of dishes. I got the eggplant tofu, vegetarian hand roll, and korean kimchi. All 3 had good flavor and were proportioned well. The service was very fast, kind, and professional. Would recommend this place to everyone.”

“Very large facility with very large dancefloor and enclosed outside patio. Numerous TV screens tuned to a very broad varity of shows and sporting events. Offers special drink and food items. Great accommodating bartenders - happy to do custom drinks. Very good security. I had the best chicken wings, cooked to my personal preference on June 2, 2025. Good variety of musical entertainment- jukebox also. Multiple pool tables.”

“I love Crumbl cookies so much! Whenever I need a little sugar for energy, I will sometimes go to Crumbl to check out what they have for that week ! Its super good and yummy!”

“Very nice owners and employees 😁 they have a good variety of flavors! I love their cheesecake and Oreo cookie flavors. The store is very clean and if it's a little messy it's because they are very busy due to being so popular. When its slow I notice the employee is diligent about cleaning up any messes. Great place!”

“Service is super slow. food comes out in multiple trips. including coffee and pastries. plus a couple other trips for silverware. servers had to be reminded to bring our missing items. Food was cold! Enchiladas verdes were good, but we only got 3 and they don't come with any sides. for the price we were expecting more food. chilaquiles were OK in terms of flavor, but were dry (not enough sauce)and some chips were stale. I had take some of the enchilada sauce to coat the stale chips. Molletes are not traditionally made. they were made with sliced bread not bolillo/telera as they should be, so bread got super soggy and chewy. chocolate muffin was not good either. it tasted as if it was sugar free/vegan or something. weird flavor, hard to explain. chocolate chip cookie was individually wrapped in plastic, which tells me it's not fresh. the only thing we enjoyed was the cafe cubano and the raspberry cheesecake.”

Atmosphere is nice, tho it was a little sparce and echoey.
I wouldn't call it a cocktail bar - the menu was a bit remedial and drinks definitely needed additional shaking for aeration and chilling (especially given the hot evening).
All in all a great spot to stop into.”

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue in Riverbank offers some truly delicious food that hits the spot! The flavors and quality of the dishes reflect the charm of Hawaiian cuisine, making each meal enjoyable. I particularly appreciated the variety on the menu, which caters to different tastes and preferences.

However, I did encounter a small issue during my visit. The young guy at the cashier spoke very softly, and I found it difficult to understand what he was saying. It would greatly improve the experience if he could speak a bit louder, as clear communication is key when placing an order.

Despite this minor setback, the overall experience was positive, and I would definitely recommend L&L Hawaiian Barbecue for its great food. If they can address the communication issue, it would make the dining experience even better!”
