Does anyone know what happened to cabin sushi? It’s been closed a while … I’m worried

I ordered 2 premium rolls and they were underwhelming. I was only able to finish 1 plate which lacked flavor and was overfried. The one in the picture I could not finish. it was soggy where the rice was wet. also the plates were dirty. The people around me seemed to be enjoying it so maybe it was just my experience but I've tried many premium sushi restaurants and hole in the walls and this place goes to the bottom of the list

This was my families ABSOLUTE favorite sushi spot. The older man that ran the place always treated us as family when we dined in. His daughter also worked there as a server and she always made our dining experience a great one. I just read this place is now permanently closed and I am really sad now. Their salmon sashimi was the absolute best around, not to mention the udon soup.....I will genuinely miss eating out here with my family, and I hope all is well with the family that owned this place. Great people!

I like this place. Eat here, I have been doing so for almost 20 years.

I got the black dragon roll & roll 911 . They were both great. Good customer service and a great comfy spot . I'll be back !!

Food was good but takes time for food to be served. Grandchildren were impatient.

I remember coming here as a kid and man this place has had a real glow up since then. I now come here whenever I crave sushi and I have not been disappointed, beautiful food and very tasty

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in Riverside. The quality of fish they use is noted in every roll. The owners assisting in all tasks is an added benefit that has long been lost in customer service. The fitness roll is my favorite thing on the menu as it has no rice. Don't skip out on the mixed tempura as it is some of the best I have had. This is a perfect hidden gem in downtown Riverside.

Absolutely wonderful as always, and the new interior look is awesome! Remodeled with a modern feel, but with service like family. We grabbed our faces off to the firecracker roll, spider roll, and 2 other specialty rolls that forgive me but I forgot the name of. Wonderfully tasty tho, you can try something new every time and not run out of options for about 20 trips. Great for date, friends or family. We will be back soon!

Great sushi, cold beer, a great experience! If you're on the fence about which sushi place to go to, don't pass this one up. Their Eskimo Roll was really tasty and I liked their House and You Angry Roll. Great service and quality, a memorable time!

Family owned business. Fells like family when I visit. Been eating here since 2015. Just remodeled and such a cool vibe. My favorite sushi place in the IE. I love PCS downtown Riverside!

This is a very nice sushi restaurant, they have great sushi and the place is very clean and the owners are excellent people, all of the waiters and waitresses are and have always been very polite very courteous and always very helpful. If you are looking for great service and delicious sushi definitely give these folks a try. Eat local, buy local, shop local.
