My experience at Banh Mi Che Cali in Rosemead was unfortunately tainted by a rude cashier interaction. During checkout, there was a misunderstanding with the receipt, and the cashier became very aggressive. While I understand mistakes can happen, the yelling and unprofessional behavior were unwarranted. Additionally, my attempts to reach the store by phone to discuss the issue were unsuccessful.

The quality of this place has really gone down over time. It’s best to go when they’re packed so you’re food is more likely to be decent. They treat non Asians so rudely. They always give me a hard time and give me less than their Asian customers. I won’t be going back to be charged more for less. There are way better Banh Mi places that aren’t rude or cheap.

This place changed a lot in the last few years. There used to be seating and not as many pre made food selections as they have now. Their banh mi is my family's go to. It is pretty inexpensive and also good! I've tried a few of their pre made meals but none of them were good enough for me to get again but for the price it is worth trying. They used to have a dessert section but it's gone now. I came in on a Friday afternoon to get plain banh mi and it took so long to get it.

I ordered the BBQ pork banh mi today delivered via Uber Eats. Some of the meat was bad, it had an odor of old meat mixed with the fresh bbq pork meat.
This place has really gone to sh!@. Food goes bad. It soured my che. Don't waste your money. Ladies have the sh!@tiest attitude. What a serious disappointment. Disaster to say the least.

A staple for Vietnamese food in the 626 area. The bahn mi sandwiches are delicious and the pork and mushroom rice rolls are made to order. Super fresh and great for catering parties. While you're waiting in line to order, make sure to pick out some of the pre packed snacks and desserts. This place can get really busy on the weekends but totally worth trying!
