Came to have the duck and the skin was not too crispy, although it did match the look in the photos. The dish feels a bit overpriced, based on the ingredients and consistency of the dish.

The best Beijing Peking duck in town! Loved their signature duck but also their other dishes were great also and their fish is extremely sweet and textures were good too! Their lunch menu is a great lunch spot for a small get together and for dinner the must order of the Peking duck! And their prices are very fair for the quality! Went on lunch was amazed by their prices and quality.

I fear that Ji Rong has become a bit of a victim of its own success. My most recent visit does not compare favorably to my first several years ago. Best test of the kitchen of a Chinese restaurant are the simplest dishes. In the case, the vegetable fried rice and braised port were both disappointing. Their dish, the Peking duck, still impressed, but seemed 30% too expensive for its $86 price tag. As others have commented, the accompanying soup was infused more with pepper than duck bone - a sure sign that the kitchen is getting lazy. The staff, while efficient, seemed less attentive than they once were. Still a solid choice for good Chinese food, but don't go expecting a life-changing experience.

Grey duck, pre-sliced that came out lukewarm. Very disappointing as there are plenty of excellent Peking duck places in the SGV. Expensive too! $86 for one duck..

Jirong Restaurant is my go-to spot for Peking duck in LA — I’ve been coming here since 2012 and the taste has never changed! Their Peking Duck is a must (call ahead to reserve!), perfectly crispy skin with rich sauce and fresh veggies to wrap. The hand-grabbed pancake is freshly made, flaky, and delicious even on its own. Also love the colorful cold noodles with sesame and mustard sauce — super refreshing. Always busy, but service is fast and friendly. Highly recommend!

The perking duck here was pretty yummy. And the rest of other dishes as well. We didn’t mind the far drive for good food. Total recommended. Plenty of parking but if you happen to come in the weekend it can be packed and you have to drive around to look for parking

Worth every penny. The most amazing Peking duck I have ever eaten. We also got the garlic pea pod tips, which was also perfectly done. The restaurant is clean and the service very good.

Overall, all dishes were very very flavorful...& savory just keep in that mind and can be especially spicy if you bite into a seed in the stir fry dishes. The Peking Duck skin was crispy, meat is tender, toppings were noticeably fresh. The honey walnut shrimp is a standout dish. We got a table with the dividers during weekday which required a minimum spend. Attentive service, staff was proactively checking that all the dishes were arriving and changing clean plates, napkins, refills.

Minimum spend if you want to reserve a table. We had to order $400USD of food.
Food was good and was quickly served. Some were overly salty. The girl refill our tea very often.

This place is gross. Ordered a few items and each item came out so cold like it was taken out of the fridge. Had to send back 2 items and when I expressed my concerns to the server he offered to MICROWAVE my food. Never have I ever walked out of a restaurant until I went through this experience.
