This is my wife and I's favorite Indian Restaurant by far. And we've tried dozens all over California and the United States. Despite being a buffet option, the food is always very favorable and fresh. Unlike other places with overly creamy and bland butter chicken, this place spices it heavily. For just about $20 you get unlimited garlic naan, all sorts of curry, samosas, a soft drink, rice, fruit, and a dessert. At another restaurant this would be a $40+ meal. I recommend always coming during buffet hours as this will be the best possible deal. The staff have always been very nice and welcoming. Will hopefully be returning here until I die.

My husband and I have been returning here consistently for the last year. New Flavor of India never disappoints and we always make sure to come back whenever we are both back in LA. Buffet hours is the best thing ever, unlimited everything all around $40 for the both of us! We love it here!

I don’t normally write reviews but this was necessary. The best I’ve ever had. The sauces were thick not watery like most places. The flavors were deep and intense. This is a yes all the way!!!!!

New Flavor of India Where Every Bite Feels Like Home

New Flavor of India in Rosemead is a rare gem that brings the heart of traditional Indian home cooking to the table. From the moment you step inside, the inviting aroma of fresh spices sets the tone for a meal that feels both familiar and deeply satisfying.

The lunch buffet is particularly noteworthy—featuring dishes like butter chicken that’s creamy without being overly rich, goat curry with just the right amount of heat, and saag paneer that tastes like it was prepared in someone's family kitchen. The naan is hot and pillowy, perfect for mopping up every last bit of sauce. Even the yogurt raita and lentil soup carry that unmistakable homemade touch.

What really elevates the experience is the warmth of the staff. They’re attentive without being intrusive, ready with recommendations, and genuinely welcoming—like you're dining in their home rather than a restaurant.

Whether you’re discovering Indian cuisine for the first time or craving flavors that remind you of home, this place hits all the right notes. It’s not flashy, but it’s deeply comforting—just as the best food should be.

I always come here for the best chicken tikka masala — it’s my favorite, especially when paired with their mango lassi and fresh naan. That combo never fails! I’ve tried many Indian restaurants, but this one remains my top pick. 😍

This time, I decided to try their lunch buffet for $18.99 per person, just to explore some new dishes. It turned out to be a small selection — just a few curries and a salad bar, nothing too special. A bit underwhelming, but still okay. I’ll probably stick to ordering my usual next time. Still love this place!
