We stopped in 30 min before they closed. I was skeptical about the quality of the food to be ordered. However, everything turned out great and tasted fantastic, just like homemade. The servers were really patient and kind regardless of the fact that they were about to close for the day. In some other places, I would have the feeling that I am being rushed to order, to finish my meal and to pay. However, not at this place.

The pork shoulder banh mi is fire. (So is everything else) the ciabatta is the weakest part of the sandwich. I would substitute a French roll or sourdough.Features: Order at the door and wait outside.

The summer rolls were delicious. The customer service could be better/friendlier. We felt ignored but they were quite busy. They have a little parking lot on the side and the back of the building.

Popular Vietnamese restaurant. The food was good. They don’t have traditional pho there. The most popular dish seems to be the little dish with rice cakes. Most customers there are Vietnamese and almost every one was eating that rice cake dish.

We visited this place on a bust evening. Got seated soon. We ordered some beef rolls that contains a mini deep fried shrimp roll inside and beef pho. The rolls were good. They only have 1 pho. We had requested pho with no blood or feet and also reminded again before food was delivered to us but they brought the pho with blood in it. Pho was not the best. The dipping sauce was bland. Water was served when we finished our food. Bowls given for pho was dirty with chili oil mark from someone's fingers. We understand it was busy but they can actually have more people to serve customers.Parking: PARKING SPACE WAS BIG ENOUGH FOR THIS SMALL RESTAURANT

This review is long overdue.I’ve been coming to Summer rolls for takeout since I moved to SGV in 2020. I was looking for an alternative to Brodards which is too far from me now. Bless my friend who introduced me to this place, it has since become a mainstay in my diet. The #5 nem nuong summer rolls are GODLY (do not skip mixing the red chili sauce into the neon orange dipping sauce-trust me). I am also a huge fan of their broken rice dishes and vermicelli dishes. Generous portions, usually lasts me 2-2.5 meals depending on how hungry i am.I have never dined in since i developed a habit of getting takeout here due to the pandemic. It’s almost always busy when I come and it’s usually all Asians which speaks to the authenticity and quality of their food. My vietnamese friend also loves their bun bo hue! Also hot tip they take the month of August off so make sure you get your summer rolls fix in late july and early sept!! Love that they do that for their employees!and second tip they do have another location in Temple City but in my experience it isn’t as good-portions are smaller. It’s run by the children of the owners iirc.you will be so sorry if you don’t try summer rolls!!!

Each time visit California I always order the take out grilled pork rolls and the sauce is perfect! This time I order "Nem Chua" and I'm so surprised, it is above and beyond my imagination! It's excellent!

Nem nuong cuon is sooo good. Since I moved from California to Washington, it's been tough finding a good nem nuong place. So I had to check out summer rolls when I was in the area this past weekend for vacation. Recent size place too.

Excellent. Different than your typical Vietnamese fare of Pho or grilled pork with vermicelli rice noodles. Modern cafe style interior, which has been converted to take out only since the beginning of the pandemic. For dine-in, visit their sister restaurant nearby.

The best Vietnamese summer rolls I ever had. Today we tried the chicken lemongrass ones. For $13 plus tax, it included 4x rolls plus sauces. The wait time after ordering in person was about 10-15 minutes. Tasted fresh and yummy. We will be back.

Definitely one of the cravings I have after leaving the SGV for weeks/months. My go to order is the nem nướng cuốn. It's just so delicious!! Summer Rolls was my gateway food into other Vietnamese dishes, and I am forever a fan.
