Dined here for lunch with 3 friends. We were seated in the enclosed patio area which was fine until the lunch crowd started arriving. The noise level became increasingly annoying until it was almost impossible to hear our own conversations. Ask to be seated inside if you're dining during peak hours. Our food was very good. We all ordered something different and everyone was very pleased with their meal. Our server, although polite, is where the score drops. He failed to check on us during our meal, and presented the bill without asking if there was anything else we would like. When we asked for coffee, he delivered our beverages by handing us our cups by holding them at the top of the cup. A good server never presents your drinks this way. That, and the noise level, dropped my rating to 3 stars.
I always enjoy coming here and until now the food has been excellent. I ordered the banh mi sandwich which was very difficult to eat for two reasons: the meat was somewhat grisly and the bun was so soaked that it all kept falling apart. Next time I'll stick with the mushroom burger!
Bennett is my main water whole now as it is excellent et consistent. Very good service and quality of ingredients. The cheese burger with its French fries and its five sauces has no competition around Sacramento... And they don t even do their own fries... Wake up Sacramento restaurant scene, someone here is stealing the crown and you are sleeping!
The Monday night Wine and Dine is an extremely great deal. We had the Sea Bass with asparagus (which had a $5 upcharge) and Short ribs with mashed potatoes. Both were fine entrees. The Tortilla soup and Butternut Squash soup were tasty. Add in the bottle of wine and where else can you find this quality of food for $70? I would go back for this Monday night special.
We have been to Bennetts twice now and both times the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The food is freaking delicious and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed!
My wife and I stopped by for a quick dinner on a Wednesday evening. We were both impressed with the great service we provided by our server Tyler and the quality of our food. We definitely will be coming back and bringing our daughter.
Keep up the good work everyone!
Only downside was how noisy it was on the patio area - not conducive to easy conversation. We asked to move inside and were happily escorted to a quieter table.
Service and food were excellent! I ordered the brie appetizer served with crisp bread rounds, apple slices and wonderful fig jam and had their Tempora Shrimp appetizer as my dinner choice. They were generously sized, decadent and delicious! The Butter Cake for dessert was large enough for 3 of us to share with some left over. It was served warm with fresh raspberries and whipped cream and was also delicious. My 2 friends also loved their dinners as well as the shared brie and cake.
Well. I just left the restaurant for Father's day. The waitress same tired. Our food was not hot and we ask them 3 times to put some heat on our short ribs dinner. They got even I salad wrong. They put dressing on our salad instead just giving us the dressing on the side. It was one of the worst dinner outings I ever had. We were their for Easter for the first time it was very nice. I really did not like the way they treat us. Than someone from the back a big guy no uniform came out and look at us and roll his eyes. So I guess he letting us know we were not welcome any more. It was just a horrible experience at the restaurant. The manager did finally come out and just gave us a whole new plate.it still was just a little warmer. We eat half and I just bought the other home. I just we just will not return. That make them feel better..Thanks for letting me vent.
All due respect, there was no specification other than on the menu itself that dining anytime before 2PM on the weekends constitutes as “brunch”, so the menu is limited and the food was just okay. Our total tab was $125 for 4 people - no alcohol. The service was spotty as well - no refills of our bottled beverages offered. Just not worth the $$.
Fast friendly service

Went here for brunch at 10am on Saturday
We were seated and served really quickly. Their brunch for 2 special was perfect if you like mimosas. We added the spinach dip which would have been good for 4 people to share. It was delicious coming out warm with melted cheese and home made potatoe chips. I had the loaded omelet with hash browns. My sister had another omelet that was also really good. We had enough to take home even.
Severing size was big, food was good (little spice in everything but not a lot)
We went for Mother’s Day Brunch and also have had dinner here. Great food, high quality ingredients. Staff is always friendly.
Service from bartender was not what this restaurant represents. Not very attentive.
All else was great! Some meals are very large. I will return in hopes service is better.
By Far!!! Our favorite restaurant in roseville!!! ❤️
