Times have changed, but this deli hasn't changed much. Even the smell of the place is the same! I've been coming here for over 35 years. I try to visit every time I'm in town. The service, food and atmosphere was amazing! I'm happy they're still around!

I just got a roast beef sandwich on sourdough roll and the roll is hard as a rock. You think the guy making the sandwich would have got me a better roll, I guess that's all they had. This place used to be real good.

Absolutly the best sandwich i have ever had. Zero contest. Hand sliced meats. Fresh bread. And absolutly wonderful staff. How this place wasnt packed out i dont know.

Want your sandwich cheese and salami touched with bare hands without gloves? This is the place for it ?♂️This is the first establishment where I see someone handling the cheese with their bare hands and then walking over and touching the computer and money with the same hands.Disappointed very much!I even told the woman that was making my sandwhich I'm not comfortable with my cheese and meat being handled without gloves and then money being touched vice versa....she just tossed the cheese across her counter and grabbed some with gloves after. Gave total attitude. I honestly should have just left without the sandwhich. Super non appetizing! ???

Went here again today for lunch. Delicious as always. Took a picture of the menu board so people can check it out before going. We will be back again
They do not follow the food guidelines they do not wash their hands they handle money and they do not wear gloves all of this while making your sandwich I was there one day and I saw the make like five sandwiches and did not wash their hands once touch their phone got into the cashier cash gave customers money and not one person wash their hands by doing all of this this place is disgusting and does not follow food safety guidelines

Just had a sandwich yesterday after a 20 year hiatus. It was exactly like the ones I remember when I was able to visit more often. And the smell.....just like a deli should smell.

I've driven by this place more than enough times on Douglas and I finally decided to stop in to get a hot pastrami sandwich. While the sourdough roll was tasty, the amount of pastrami was laughable. I won't be back.
