We are currently at Chandos in El Grove at 8:30 on a Saturday night after a very long day. They close at 9. We were told “out of respect for our kitchen, you need to take your food to go.” There is 5 of us so now if we want to eat at Chandos we have to eat in our car or in the rain outside. What kind of restaurant does this to its customers? They have 14 empty tables…. I used to own a restaurant many years ago. ordered online for a pickup. apparently if you do that you are ordering through a food delivery service like door dash. so when THEY mess up on your food, they get off scott free and you then have to go through door dash to get anything fixed. we all know door dash doesn't care about their customers. I guess you can add Chandos to that list as well.
*we did try to get it resolved through door dash and we were never contacted back to fix things*
Chandos was awesome when they first opened up in Roseville, I just went there the other day and the quality of the food has gone down hill. I ordered 5 tacos and could only eat 2 and threw the rest in the trash. Hope you guys can bounce back.
