i was really craving empanadas, and found this spot on yelp. it's a food truck that travels around sac and is managed/run by a very friendly owner, who always goes out of his way to provide stellar service. i got a pack of 3: beef, chorizo, and ham&cheese. the empanadas were fried-to-order, so they all came up piping hot. the crust/pastry itself was really good. it was crispy and flakey, and not too oily. unfortunately, the filling itself didn't leave me star-struck. i thought the beef filling was bland and too moist, making the inside mushy -- maybe it was undercooked? the chorizo one was good and well-seasoned, much more sturdy than the beef one. the ham and cheese one was bland to me. i could tell it was real ham and quality cheese, but i wish it was more seasoned. the chimichuri sauce was really really oily, so it was hard to enjoy, but the flavor profile was there. overall, this is a spot i'd want to give another try, but for now, i thought it was just ok although i will admit that it's' one of the few emapanada spots in sacramento, so if had a craving, i'd come here

I have been there 3 times over the past 4 months during their open hours but it has been closed every single time even though their website said open. I try to call and it directs you to their website which is wrong. Disappointed. I won't try again as it is a waste of my time.

My daughter, granddaughter and I went to the farmer's market at Mahany Park last Sunday and I ordered 3 chicken and 3 beef empanadas from Che's food truck. They were piping hot and delicious! I am ready to go back again this week!

These are the worst empanadas I have ever tasted. This is not representative of authentic Argentinian empanadas. WAYYY overpriced for the quality & taste. And that's not even chimichurri. This is my opinion..

Found this food truck at Sunday Market in Mahany Park. I was definitely surprised in a good way by their empanada. I loooooved their beef and chorizo empanadas....very moist inside and well flavored. Their Chimichuri sauce was excellent as well. I'm glad they come to Roseville and I don't have to drive down to Sacramento, because I will definitely go back!

Decided to try an empanada on a whim while walking by. Got the veggie and it was so good! Delicious filling with a light, flaky crust. The chimichurri was flavorful. Will definitely go back to try more!

Delicious! Only had 2 empanadas left when I got there... Bought them both. They were the ham and cheese. I'm not a fan of ham, but with the delicious chimichurri, was definitely still good. Can't wait to try the other empanadas!Update: Found the food truck again today to try the chorizo empanadas. Wow, just wow. Delicious! If you're looking for a great empanada, find Che's Urban Eats! Two things I like most are empanadas and good chimichurri sauce. They have some of the best empanadas and did not disappoint on the chimichurri, so I had to take a jar to go! Ulises's customer service was amazing and his love for flavor shined thru as he explained the fresh herbs that went into the sauce. My husband and I have dubbed this place as a new go to spot. For those having a hard time and showing up when the truck is not available, it's a truck, so I would check social media first. We saw there was an event earlier in the day so we arrived after the event to the R street Iocation and he was setting up and ready to go shortly after.
