My husband and I came in today and OMG it was good! He got a classic burger with a heaping mound of steak fries, I had sausage and biscuits and added an egg on top. Our lovely waitress was so sweet! Very attentive and thankfully kind enough to suggest that maybe I should only get a 1/2 order. My husband was too busy chowing down his burger to hear the conversation and really didn’t notice mine was just a 1/2 because of the size. We had a lot of “she’s so nice”, the fries...
I hadn't been to a Chubby's in over 20 years, so when my SoCal transplant boyfriend mentioned this location in Roseville still being open, I said we HAD to go. It was as delicious as I remember from my childhood. Same no frills, classic, fresh and tasty food in that classic diner atmosphere. And the best surprise was that it only cost us $16.15 each for double burger combos! Keep doing you, Chubby's. Can't wait to return again for a patty melt!
So, this place is the bomb! Excellent food and the friendliest service! Although, I will give 4 stars ONLY because I don't like the tinted windows that they added. It really takes away from the ambiance of this wonderful diner and it's too dark inside. I can only asume they did that so the people eating inside would not be bothered by the bums starring at them while they eat.
