Good place to stop in and get quick bite to eat. Food was good. Expected more of a restaurant atmosphere, but my son and I went there during the shutdown. No soda fountain available; and everything was ala Carte, which adds up quickly! $$. Next time I'll do takeout, & get the gyro. More bang for my buck! This place could be a little bit cleaner, IMO. Garbages full; food on floor...

I order Daphne's for dinner after a long day at work. I ordered 4 of the mix & match plates with the grilled chicken skewers and 1 with the gyro. The chicken was not good. It was a little tough and tasted like salmon. I believe salmon is on the menu. The grill probably was not wiped down. The gyro was good. I wish I had order that instead of the chicken.. The salad was warm by the time I got home with the food since it was in the same container with the hot food.

After our last visit, I left a review and was immediately contacted by the owner of Daphne's. I told her we would go back and give it another try. Daphne's is one of my favorite places and has been since it opened. Giving it a second chance proved to be well worthwhile. We visited the restaurant on 2/28/2021 and it was back to where it had always been. There was a bad day and that was addressed and resulted in a great visit. We will go back many times over in the future. I always feel like I am eating a great healthy meal when I eat there. Thank you to the owner for addressing the issues immediately that resulted in the improvements. This is what customer service is all about! Listening to the customer and taking action with noticeable improvement!

We ordered takeout from Daphne's the other day. I had never tried this location and it had been a while since going to another Daphne's restaurant. Reasonably good experience. Our order consisted of a Gyro Bowl, Calamari, and a Classic Pita Gyros with Fries. The gyro meat was delicious in both the bowel and the classic. The Pita was fresh and tasty. However, the fries were soggy (under cooked) and the portion of calamari was small. The calamari were properly prepared and tasted good, just not enough ..... disappointing. Prices were reasonable.

Let me start off by saying that this 3 for Daphne's in Roseville almost Rocklin is a strong 3 stars. Daphne's appears to be a California chain of Greek(-American) restaurants which slot into streets with lengthy storefronts or in strip malls. I believe the first one at which I ate was at Douglas and Sierra College Blvds. in Roseville, and it's good to see that that one is still there. The reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because it seems like they've done some musical chairs with how combo platters are configured and with their branding compared to when I first made their acquaintance, even eating at various Daphne's in SoCal back in the day. Perhaps it was that I liked the concept, branding, combinations, and prices more at that time. Take note that Daphne's is still good. I find it hard to complain about reasonably priced platters of Greek food. At this visit, the service was expedient, the acknowledgement by the apparent manager was appreciated, the food was good, the price was fair, and the restaurant was clean. So, here, the biggest question might be whether you want to eat at a Daphne's near a big Costco in cookie cutter shopping center or one in a more nicely finished shopping center with a Safeway along the Douglas Blvd. strip in Roseville with professional offices and financial institutions. (More so for humor and abstraction than politics, I would occasionally visualize that there could be a bespectacled Sarah Palin-alike in one of those offices on Douglas Blvd. coming into the waiting area to offer a bottle of cold water, and a smile, if the wait for your mortgage application appointment was taking too long.) Daphne's is a fairly solid eatery where you order at the counter and the food is brought out to your table. I liked my Greek platter. However, I've liked Greek platters I've had more at both yesteryear's Daphne's and at other indie Greek tavernas. Try it and see what you think.

I have been enjoying the food at this location for many years. One of my absolute favorites. Today, worst food experience ever. Hummas was dry, chicken in my pita was dry. Tahini had a different taste. I am very disappointed and will not be back after today. I had noticed the quality going down over the past few months, today proved it.

Food is good, we come here often, but today they didn't let us use the bathroom which I understand but you can make exceptions in a emergency and you definitely don't have to be ride and short about it.....lost a sale to your neighbors the Japanese restaurant, very nice and accommodating!! That's important during these times!!! Great food aswell!!!

This spot is worth visiting. They have big portions for convenient rates. Constantly clean and with excellent vibes. Will visit here again.

I like Daphnes Restaurant but I am deeply disappointed that both bathrooms were closed. Hand washing is the best way to stop the spread of disease and not only could you not wash your hands, but no place to pee either. Will not be back

Unfortunately I have to give this location a 1 star or less. In several recent occasions the rice was way undercooked and the chicken was burnt.

Have been on the hunt for some good Greek food and so happy we found this spot! It's not a sit-down restaurant, which works well in these times for us- so, we got take out. The service was quick, fries were crispy and flavorful, fiery feta dip was delicious, and the gyro sandwich was excellent. The meat was juicy and perfect and the salad they put in the pita was SO tasty. Will definitely be back to try other menu items. The lemon chicken soup sounds de-lish!

Ordered Daphne's to go and made sure to eat the fries right away. I am glad we did because they are a thick cut fry, but they came out piping hot, crunchy, with the perfect amount of salt. The gyro pita was flavorful and plentiful. I personally did not like the fiery feta dip because the olive taste was overwhelming. My wife really liked it though. I will definitely return and order the spicy chicken.

Love this location. I've been coming here for some years. I just wish I didn't live 45 min away or I'd be here more often.

Ordered online. Order arrived without the fries for both the sandwich/ gyro that it had pictured on the website which was disappointing. I paid 30$ which seems very steep for that. Food was ok not enough to make up for it. Don't think I'll be returning.
