Celebrating my daughter's birthday at this restaurant- her first time here. A few words about our experience. Our main waiter wasn't very attentive... after being seated for our table- the wait staff did set out the water and menu which was nice but we waited for almost 40 minutes before any server came by to see if we were ready. No smile, no recommendations or small talk to make it memorable. Came earlier than the reservation so we sat at the bar- it was happy hour...

Caprese salad was amazing and so were the entre`s- portions were large. We sat on the patio. It was very pleasant and relaxing. All of the wait staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Since when did they stop serving bread...they charge for it now?? Other than that, was a delightful dinner.

Lori was excellent and took incredible care of us and made my husband's birthday extra special! Our table for four was in the covered loggia area, tucked away from the main dining area; which was very quiet and allowed us to catch up and talk easily with our friends. The food was delicious. A special night! Thanks Il Fornaio Roseville!
