So this is the CHEAPEST RESTAURANT I ever saw as a Dasher in more than 5000 restaurants that I’ve been to & picked up orders from between the SF/Bay Area & Roseville.

I asked the cashier if I can get a cap of WATER and she said Yes you can.

I got their large cap that might cost the restaurant maybe anywhere 5 to a max of 50 CENTS (worst case). Have to verify that.

Once the owner & employee saw me he said something to his employee and this employee asked me to pay for the cap. (That CAP WILL NEVER EVER COST MORE THAN 50 cents anywhere in the U.S. worst case. So I had to pay $2.69 for a cap of water that I later felt very regretted to ask. I believe NO one has ever paid for a cap of water regardless of its size.

She later pointed to the smallest cap and she meant that one but not disclosed it when I first asked.

Such a shame! I noticed Most Asians and Indian operated restaurants treat Dashers poorly.

As a Dasher, I got some great respect & have been treated so well in white-owned, Mexican & Middle-Eastern owned restaurants. Free water WITHOUT a small hesitation, chips, salsa and snacks offered to me by many restaurants without me asking for it.

Favorite foods to order are Loco Moco Meal, Hamburger Steak Meal, and SPAM Musubi.

Tip: If you can live without the eggs of the Loco Moco, the Hamburger Steak Meal is almost the same meal but comes with an extra hamburger patty.

Counter service. Dine in is like a fast food restaurant. Food comes in Styrofoam containers. I usually order to go.

L&L is in the same plaza as Four Sisters and Jalisco Fairway.

Once every blue moon I give this place a chance again and every time I’m met with the same food poisoning.
Unless you are getting spam or ramen or just rice you are running the risk of getting sick.
Got the bbq chicken plate. I don’t know why I get sick every time I eat here but it’s definitely the last time. Trust me, don’t risk it. It’s not worth it.

My husband and I've been coming here for years. We only do take out tho. Busy place but fast service ? I forgot to take pictures of loco moco and spam musubi! I like their Kalua pork with cabbage and spam musubi, my husband's fav is teriyaki chicken and loco moco. Their chicken katsu is also crispy and tasty. ?

Food is fine. Just a little tip for management and the people who work their…. need to be a bit more knowledgeable about the food that’s being served in their establishment.

When people of different faiths and cultures come in and ask “what flavor is your curry”? Saying I don’t know or “it’s Japanese curry” is not an answer.

Chicken beef pork vegetarian etc etc those are “flavors”….. people of different faiths may have restrictions. So that’s why individuals may ask…. So hopefully you teach the white girl in the register and also other crew members to answer properly so they can enjoy without having doubt.

“Don’t eat it if your not sure” is besides the point. Having knowledge working at an establishment is ideal. Hope management can clarify these things with their employees.

Food is really solid, it’s a normal restaurant casual. The wait has been a little long from order to pick up. It’s definitely nice to have a different option from standard take out scene. It is usually enough leftover for a lunch the next day depending on what you get.

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting various L&L Hawaiian Barbecue spots, and I’m always impressed by the remarkable consistency in the quality of their food. No matter which location I find myself at, the standard of service is reliably excellent. The food is fresh, demonstrating their commitment to preparing meals to order.

Worker cleaning his mouth with his bare hands (yuck) twice on mouth and also brushing his hair with his hands and going straight to handle food without washing his hands or caring about being clean or caring even 1 percent. I let the cashier and owner (?) know and was quickly refunded. Never ever coming back as the employee laughed and washed his hands for a few seconds and the elder Asian employee trying to say in English -don’t worry don’t worry- I’m like it’s my health and I have to worry. So nasty!!!!!
