The prime rib dip is awesome! So is the pizza. They make up the dough in house and each pizza is hand made. The bread for all items is so good. I love the laid back atmosphere. This is my new favorite local restaurant!

We must have caught them on a bad night, as the pizza we ordered was nearly tasteless. Not a lot of sauce, and the sauce that could be tasted was really bland. The protein we ordered for the pizza was also very lightly applied. We're big pizza lovers, new to the area and trying some of the places that are highly rated. We rarely write less than stellar ratings, but we're still scratching our heads on what happened here as our experience at the other places we've tried correlated to the ratings we read.

The veggie pizza is one of the best we've had just short of Killer Pizza from Mars and Al's does it with less salt. The medium is too big for two so we're taking some slices. I had a root beer float just because it's been decades since I've had one and it's decent (there's some ice in the ice cream) and reasonably priced. The service is okay.

Very friendly staff. Very helpful. Great service. My brother and I had the personal pizza and salad. Great tasting, hot from the oven pizza. They have a verity of things on the menu .very thing from pasta,pizza,hamburgers and sandwiches. Will be back. Had a co-worker recommended Al's she was right great food.

Have been here now twice. Special thanks to Al in making this a place to bring out of town guests yet be able to cater to a large gathering of in town patrons. Several varieties of soups, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, even adult beverages make this place to go to for weekday lunches to Sunday evenings diners alike. Furthermore, I well as my colleagues and friends were impressed with the kitchen and the restrooms were quite clean. Already looking forward to making a third time to ensure this neighborhood charm restaurant remains. As the solo reviewer I would recommend Original Al's Restaurant even for solo patrons.
What a spot! A friend / someone I do business with recommended this place. I think he's a regular and I see why haha. We were there today around lunch time and it was packed! It has such a comforting atmosphere inside and the waitress was so nice. I didn't catch her name though sadly. The owner stopped by the table and said hi too. Nice touch. With the smells and everything coming out of the kitchen looking so good, it was hard to pick what I wanted... I just happened to get the prime rib sandwich and it was the best I've ever had. Hands down. And while popping on Yelp to write this review, it seems like others feel the same way. 5/5 stars!

Love this place. Local neighborhood restaurant, big enough to accommodate, small enough to keep that intimate feeling. Staff is prompt, Owner is welcoming, Manager is fantastic, She Circles to make sure the customers are happy and shares a kind word here and there. GREAT PLACE. Going in there is like coming home.
