“Not sure exactly where to start but this restaurant has some serious customer service issues and that's just one category we were very disappointed in. We ordered online last night to try it out as we saw so many great reviews for the food so we broke from tradition and on my birthday we decided to eat here. All we ordered was a Helen, Cheese Fondue, and the Meatball rigatoni. I received an email stating the food would be ready in about 45 minutes. We left 35 minutes later as it's only up the street from where we live. As we arrive we noticed it's a little corner spot with patrons and appears to be more of a quaint little sit down restaurant and my wife and I thought maybe next time we just come in instead of take out. We stood there for about 2-3 minutes and then guy yells from across the room that he will be with us in a minute. He didn't seem to have anything he was really doing but ok. So finally an older guy comes over and asks us if we have been helped. We told him we were there to pick up our order, and he says he will go check on it. After a few minutes he comes back and says he tried to call us (no record of any missed calls on my phone) and that the rigatoni with meatballs was not available and he wasn't sure how it let us order that online. We don't know either and we definitely know you didn't try calling us to tell us that. Anyways he provided the option for a refund or to make my wife another dish. He mentioned shrimp scampi as the alternative, now the rigatoni was $25 a plate and they didn't even have shrimp scampi on the menu so I was skeptical since usually if they make something good it would be on their menu. So we waited for another 10 minutes for this SCAMpi. I capitalize scam because that's exactly how we felt when they tried to give us this alternative dish and we looked at it. I wish I had taken a picture of what they brought out for $25.... It was literally a small portion of large macaroni noodles, and no more than maybe 6-7 small chunks of shrimp in some greasy sauce that looked totally unseasoned... Gross. I wouldn't feed anything that dish and they should have never tried to replace a main dish like that with something as disappointing as what we received. So I took the container back into the restaurant as we hadn't left the parking lot as I wanted to see first just what they felt was comparable to the $25 we just spent. I found the guy who helped us and just explained that we wanted the refund and the scampi was not acceptable. He said ok and said right after that the refund was already processed. Now to the other food. The pizza was $23 and the cheese fondue was $13. Normally $23 for a pizza isn't crazy, but this was literally the size of a medium if that, and was extremely bare of ingredients. It taste pretty good, but wasnt worth the money at all. I don't eat a lot, and I was able to eat half of this pizza alone without even blinking. The cheese fondue was ok but not memorable. So now today I get up and take a look at my bank account to see if the refund was actually processed, and what do I see? Instead of a refund, I was charged again for that SCAMpi and not actually refunded! I wouldn't dine here again with the lack of customer service, value, and lack of integrity. I will be going back in again to get this straightened out and am not happy about it.“

“I seriously cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We were greated by a very friendly man who offered suggestions on the menu. He pleasantly asked if we were happy with our food. The food is AMAZING. I got a gyro wrap, my husband got a gyro platter. The portions were huge and absolutely delicious. My husband eats more food then you could imagine and it made him stuffed while not sacrificing quality or flavor. The meat just melted in your mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We got two baklavas and I cannot even explain how good they are.“

“I liked the sushi. The all you can eat menu is good and has a lot of items. I mostly like the shrimp tempura rolls and other sushi is good too. I did feel the sauce on some of the sushi made the sushi taste too sweet but overall a good dining experience. The garlic edamame is awesome, very garlicky and delicious, fried rice and miso soup was good. It's also nice to be able to order half rolls, that way you can try a bunch of different sushi“

“This is a small Filipino bakery in a commercial area near Dutch Bros. You have to order the bread and other baked goods at the cashier so there was a short line every time I visited.

- XL senorita bread with cream cheese: the bread was soft and fluffy. The cream cheese gave a tangy and creamy taste to the bread.
- Ensaymada: my favorite! The bread was soft and buttery. The buttercream on top was sweet and creamy.
- Turon: sticky goodness! The wrap was crispy and sweet (but good sweet - not overwhelming). I wish there was bigger banana piece inside.“

“We went here not expecting much and had a fantastic morning. Tatiana, our server, was SO NICE and SO ATTENTIVE, she was easily the highlight of our visit! She's that sort of over the top nice that you never experience. She was fantastic and made us feel super welcome.

I got the chicken fried steak breakfast and my wife got a traditional breakfast with biscuit and gravy on the side. First off, the biscuits are amazing, massive, fluffy, just perfect! Tatiana brought me honey with mine and recommended it, and she was SO RIGHT. The biscuit with butter and honey was incredible! The country gravy is really great too, not too thick where it becomes the entire meal, but flavorful and rich and hearty. My chicken fried steak was great, the eggs were perfectly cooked, everything was really good.

There were two things that I think could be improved. The potatoes had a great freshness and texture, but they completely lacked seasoning. No salt, no pepper, no herbs or spices. They would have been completely transformed by some rosemary, thyme, a little paprika or something, and salt and pepper. The orange juice was definitely from concentrate, and while it was pretty good, I've just been spoiled by not from concentrate juices. It's definitely not as big a deal as the potatoes though.

Again, Tatiana was great and we would come back JUST for her even if the food sucked, but most of the food was really good and worth a visit anyway!“

“We visited Tangs for the first time on the 3rd of July. Exceptionally busy but even with a slower service than we anticipated we absolutely will be back. It was worth the wait!“

“On, Friday, January 24th we came in as a large party (9 adults, and 10 children) with no reservation for a poorly planned birthday celebration. We came in around 4:30, and were told they didn't have the space to accommodate us right then, BUT they would have their large room available in an hour when the waitress running the room started her shift. I know we were so lucky it was available but I just appreciated so much being accommodated considering our poor planning. In the future we will be sure to make a reservation well in advance. We managed to kill an hour, and when we got back and seated in the large room, we realized quickly it was worth the wait. It's a large room with a door, that we had primarily to ourselves the entire time. Our amazing waitress got an order in quickly for breadsticks (which were so delicious) to keep the hungry kids settled. Which was very appreciated. She was just so patient and kind with our chaotic group. She seemed at ease, was friendly and kept everything organized. The food as always was delicious. Everything was so good. The salads, the wings, the pizzas... everything I've come to love at Old town pizza. My absolute favorite pizza place hands down. Aside from the food being consistently delicious, the service here is excellent. The staff is amazing... from the host to the pick up counter. This was my birthday pick and not only was I beyond happy with the experience, so was everyone in my party. Some were new customers who raved about the food and some had never experienced your sit down service before. Everyone walked away full and happy. I could not have asked for a better experience. I just feel bad I waited so long to write this. I will continue to rave about OTP to anyone who will listen and I will be back again soon. Thank you OTP Roseville.“

Ordered pork Xiao long bao and pork and chives steamed dumplings. The wrappers are very good, handmade and fresh.
The meat stuffings were not that great to be honest. Both tasted sweet and can't really taste the meat, it's like very fine ground pork. Hoping they will adjust the stuffings.“

“This place is such an amazing local gem! Its very casual atmosphere is welcoming, and gives off half Japanese bodega/restaurant vibes, as they have both imported goods and yummy eats. The staff is so friendly and honestly made it feel like family serving us. I felt like we were actually eating in a local restaurant in HI, their family is originally from HI, so man the local grindz and chill vibe was spot on. I had the sesame chicken bento box and tempura shrimp à la carte, hubby had a sushi roll with tempura shrimp, cream cheese, avocado, and salmon on top. Everything was really good, very fresh and so ono/oishii. Loved that the tempura and sesame chicken were battered not panko crusted, although they do have panko crusted things on the menu that I’m sure are super yummy. And we had to try their HI snow, which is actually legit HI shave ice, not shaved ice, actually soft shave ice. They even import their syrups from the islands. So so amazing. Thanks for the warm welcome for our first visit Kristy, hope I got your name right. Everyone should check out this place which has been around for nearly 31 years!! Can’t wait til our next visit, I’m glad our mom had a haircut near you guys so we could find you!“

“My son and daughter-in-love told us about this place recently. I was in the area so I decided to try it. I am still eating here while I type this. The restaurant is located in an unassuming strip mall. We were greeted at the door and they said to sit wherever we'd like. The decor is nice and everything looks to be kept very clean. We ordered the orange chicken, house soecial fried rice and house special chow mein. I have never had better chow mein in my life!! The orange chicken was excellent as well. It was not that preformed, frozen chicken nugget slathered in orange sauce like everyone else uses. The fried rice was tasty too. The portions were very generous and the prices were very fair. If you haven't tried this place yet, you have to!! I can't wait to go back and try many other dishes.“

We ordered the green curry with chicken, pad see-ew with beef, and kung phak ruam. The green curry sauce was thinner than I'm used to, but was full of flavor. Bites with basil and some added serrano pepper slices (from the side sauce dishes on the table) were my favorite bites of the meal. Other food highlights were the perfectly cooked shrimp in the kung phak ruam and flavorful thick noodles of the pad see-ew.
The service was attentive and as friendly as could be. I didn't feel like I was in a restaurant, I felt like I was in somebody's kitchen. I should have added photos, but the meal was devoured before I could think of it. All 3 decently proportioned meals and a side of fluffy rice for only $50.“

“Excellent breakfast! The bacon is thick and tasty. I ask about raisin bread everywhere’s I go, no one ever has it, this place does! The cinnamon roll was a nice size, not so large to be obscene and had a nice flavor. My husband had the house made sausage patty and biscuit. He said both were quite good, good texture and flavor. The atmosphere is nice, not too loud, and has a nice train rolling around the wall. It was decorated for Easter very tastefully. Our new favorite place!“

“I've eaten here probably close to 30 times since they opened, including pickups during covid. There's a few Ramen spots around Roseville at this point, but they are the best. For that classic Ramen, just get the fukumi ramen with spicy on the side. Also, for when they finally open indoor dining, they sell beer for like 3ish dollars, which is awesome.

Edit 4 years later: I can track inflation with my fukumi takeout receipts. Have probably had close to 300 bowls of ramen from them.
Still the best around the area despite numerous other spots opening. Their thick noodles just hit different. The only criticism I have is that occasionally hey have an off day with the broth tasting slightly less umami. Not sure if it's the broth itself, or maybe the aromatic oil being different, so if you try them a single time and it was so so, that could be why. Also, their beer prices went up, but what can you do. Still 5 stars 🤝“
