Course is under repair. I recommend playing when repairs are finished. Greens were in good condition, but slow. Tee boxes and fairways are in rough condition though
Half the fairways were just dirt and a bunch of the bunkers were filled with sand that was so deep you couldn’t even go in it. Really upsetting to pay full price to play the course when it is in such terrible condition. Maybe after the renovation we knew nothing about is done the course will be worth playing. Food was good at least.
The course looks the same as pictures from other reviews I wish I looked at from a month ago.
Staff is always friendly and helpful. Fun course layout. Great course for any age or skill level.
Under construction. Come back when they done.
Charging full price when the course is being ripped apart , is absolutely beyond ridiculous.
Appreciate you guys making the renovations, but no one should pay this much to play in a dump like that.
For the $65 weekday rate this course was grossly disappointing.
This review is marked as 2/5 because the only truly positive thing about my experience was that the food and the bar staff were nice.
In all my years having played Woodcreek Oaks, this has got to be the worst it has ever been. I grew up playing this course and it is a golf course I truly cared about. I moved away for 7 years and I move back to see this golf course in shambles.
The first hole serves as a first impression for the rest of the course usually. That first impression was disgraceful and a slap across the face. The fairway bunkers were trashed with grass growing in large clumps throughout the bunker with the accompaniment of disgusting green standing water pooling in large puddles. Driving range balls littered all across the right side of the 1st hole. Just terrible.
Puddles were in the bunkers throughout the course. Ground under repair all throughout the course whether in the fairway, light rough, or wherever. The water hazards are much murkier, and algae covered.
There were a few holes on the course that were in decent condition but the problems of the golf course completely overshadow any bright spots this course can offer.
This course used to be solid that was fun to play. The bunkers were well maintained, the fairways were in better shape, and the course showed an overall healthy sign of the staff and ownership caring about the maintenance for the golf course. I don't see that clear indication anymore, sadly.
I have played at this course well over a hundred times in all my years playing golf. Unless something drastic happens to the maintenance of this course, this very well will be my last time playing here.
Please do better, Woodcreek Golf Club. Make me want to play here again.
60$ for this dump?! Course was in the worst condition I have ever seen a course. Cart marks on the greens, literally piles of dirt in the middle of the fairway that cover more than half the fairway, chunks missing out of the greens, looks like it hasn’t been mowed (with what grass is left). They charge this price and expect people to be satisfied? Pathetic, will never return to this dump
Great place if rude guys in the pro shop (Rob, Curtis) are your thing. Or a terrible driving range. Or a course that is so bad, I can only wonder if the city is doing this on purpose so they can close the course and build more homes on it. Judging by the conditions, it already looks like a construction site.
The entire place feels like nobody cares, everyone gave up, and are here to get a paycheck.
Woodcreek Golf Course might be one of the worst cared for golf courses in Northern California. The place was absolutely destroyed and yet they still find a way to charge $65 for a weekend tee time. I’ve seen cow pastures in better shape than this place. Bunkers were absolute trash and unplayable. The goose droppings were unbearable and if you were close to a water feature, it smelled like hot garbage. The greens looked like they hadn’t been mowed in 4 days and the cups were so smashed it made putting a crap shoot to say the least. To top it off I was disgusted with my post round meal of a terrible cheeseburger and burnt fries for the low price of $18. Do yourself a favor and drive an extra 3 minutes and pay $5 more to play Timber Creek. The longer we continue to pay these prices for garbage golf courses like this the longer they will stick around to over charge us for a glorified dog track. Woodcreek and the city of Roseville should be ashamed of the product they have provided.

Simple 18 hole course fair prices good driving range
Our home course. Nice course with great people here.
Played the back nine and breakfast today. Course is in very good for summer condition and the greens are better than I've seen in a long time.
Beautiful golf course and the food is amazing, A must after 18 holes of golf, refreshments!
Sand traps were terrible. Its like they just gave up on em. No water in the jugs. Expected better on Father's Day.
