“I love this taco truck! The service was amazing and everyone was so kind. My boyfriend accidentally dropped all three of his tacos right after getting them 😅 When he went back to order more, they asked if something was wrong with the tacos. He explained what happened and they offered to replace all of them! He insisted on paying for another 3, but when the order was ready, they surprised us with 4 tacos instead! 🥹❤️

“I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

“Evan's is hands down one of the best BBQ joints around. Every visit has been spot-on — not a single miss! The brisket is absolutely killer, and that summer salad hits the spot (gotta balance out the meat and healthy items...right?).

For my birthday, my wife catered from Evan's, and they nailed it. One of the standout items was the smoked chicken, and let me tell you — the tray of chicken thighs they delivered looked like something straight out of a championship turn-in box.

Each thigh had a beautifully rendered, bite-through skin — a true pitmaster's touch — and the meat was perfectly juicy, coming clean off the bone without falling apart. Flavor? On point. Smoke? Clean and balanced. It was BBQ chicken perfection.

“Top smash burger spot in San Gabriel valley, Mikey is super cool and the burgers are amazing. Be sure to get the double smash burger as it has a lot more taste than a single! His special sauce is so good as well!

The restaurant has TVs placed around the dining area, so customers can stay entertained while waiting for their food. I also loved that they let you pour your own condiments on the side, adding a nice personal touch. The food was ready in just 10 to 15 minutes, which was impressively quick. “My husband and I stopped here one day after he got out of a long days work, we were craving the Dubai strawberries cup and let me tell you it did not disappoint this cup was very big very very packed that it was so heavy it had so many fresh sweet tangy strawberries that went so well with the loads of creamy rich chocolate and pistachio cream we were very impressed it was coming out of the top That's when you know it's good they totally did not skimp on anything although I'm addicted to the pistachio cream so next time I will be getting extra extra extra of that in there cuz who doesn't love pistachio cream right, their service was awesome The woman at the register let me know everything they had to offer they had some really cool astrology themed crepes and coffees and other sort of drinks as well which means they have something for everyone, I believe they were open till 3:30 on the weekday that we went it was not packed but on the weekends it's very very packed That's how good they are if you're in the area or even if you're not it's worth it to make a trip down here especially if you're in love with the Dubai strawberries cup like me and my husband are it will not disappoint I promise!! We honestly can't wait to go back it's a must try for sure.
