I was really craving beef noodle soup even in this hot weather so I came across this place. While other places tend to focus on the saltiness of the broth, this broth has the right amount of savoriness and spice that I love. I added some Chinkiang vinegar at home bc I like adding a sour note to this flavor. The cucumber salad is crispy, crunchy, and a good addition to this warm stew especially in the summertime. The place is rather small and located on the edge of the strip mall. We quite enjoy the food here - they are good and reasonably priced. My wife and kids like their (non-spicy) noodles. My favorite is the braised chicken rice dish. The chicken is tender and cooked perfectly in a broth with Asian vegetables and spices. The spicy-level can be adjusted. Ordered their spicy beef noodle soup, wontons in spicy sauce and szechuan dandan noodles for lunch. Overall my friend and I were a little disappointed by the flavours. Everything was pretty greasy and both noodle dishes were overly salty. The spicy beef noodle soup had about 3 small chunks of beef, which was pretty shocking to see so little of.
