Tastes, feels, and smells like Formosa. Took relatives here from Taiwan who agree that the food is equal to if not better than many places on the island. Ppl complaining about service and sanitary… this is exactly what an authentic Taiwanese eatery is like. It’s a bit hidden but one of the best esp for stinky tofu, beef noodle, and rice dishes.
Came across this restaurant on Instagram, but it just missed the mark. They had all your popular Taiwanese food from beef noodle soup to stinky tofu (fried and spicy steamed). Everything tasted fine, I perhaps just had too high of an expectation. I'll probably try another Taiwanese spot before coming back.
Yum! Affordable Taiwanese food in Rowland!!! $10.50 Cold Noodles is a must!! $13.99 for beef noodle soup, $8.99 Pork rice, $7.99 Boiled A Vegetable and other appetizers. Located down the walkway between the plaza's main buildings. No restroom. The Food District restroom was closed too when we visited. Takes credit card if order $25min. OG place with sticky tables, and such.
