The Terraces is a family-owned winery in Napa that offers a beautiful and phenomenal experience, highly recommended as one of the best in wine country. The visit provides a totally different, intimate family feel with a fantastic and incredible vibe. Guests tour the well-maintained vineyard on an ATV, which makes for a unique and wonderful experience. The tour covers the history of the place and family, the operations from planting to harvesting, and includes viewing a small balsamic vinegar production room.
The tasting is a standout experience, featuring bold, rich, and full of flavor wines, a fantastic Riesling, and a hard apple cider that is better than any other—they are the only cidery in Napa. There is also a phenomenal balsamic tasting of their delicious vinegar, which is not yet for sale. The owners and staff are very friendly, professional, accommodating, hilarious, and full of knowledge, often sitting with guests to chat. This personal touch creates a memorable visit and is the main reason customers plan to return, often leaving with bottles to enjoy at home. It is an absolute must for anyone visiting Napa Valley.
