The food was flavorful, the chips were crispy, and the salsa had the right amount of heat. We ate our meal in the outside dining area that was available. After our food arrived, I felt like we were forgotten about. Out of sight, out of mind, maybe? The menu prices were a tad on the high side for me for mexican food.

If you’re in the mood for Good Mexican Food, keep going down J street until you reach Midtown Taqueria. Not only is it more affordable, but it also tastes better. I’ve been to 3 Hermanas three times and am now fully convinced it’s not worth my time.

Our usual spot was closed so we decided to give this place a try. It was a Monday afternoon so it was not busy. Our server was friendly. The food wasn't bad it was just bland. Nothing we ordered seemed to have any spice. Even the salsa, which was fresh didn't have any kind of kick. If you don't want spicy or if you have a need to eat more mild food then this may be the place for you
