Overall 5 star experience! Long wait to get in; but food came out less than 5 mins after we ordered! So it balanced out. We really loved the service/server we had. The food was really tasty and felt high quality. Portions were very good! We each took home enough leftovers for another meal! Menu felt both unique and classic, so many things looked good it was hard to choose. Really glad we chose to wait! They were also super efficient but did not rush us.

We just searched for breakfast eateries and came across this gem. The place was incredibly cute and sooo good. We loved the unique menu and descriptions and everything we got we showed a good time! Highly recommend the cinnamon roll, the kitchen sink, bacon (you can't not have it here when it's in the name), and the smashed fries and bacon gravy.

I had heard amazing things about this place, but I left disappointed. I will say that it was very busy today, so I understand that wait times were naturally longer. However, the host was very rude to multiple people, including myself. I was just waiting for a to-go order, so I wasn't trying to be seated anywhere. However, there were tables outside that were unoccupied, and several waiting families before me had used the corner ones to sit and wait to the side. Due to health issues, I needed to sit down while I waited, so I did the same. I was given a dirty look by the host and told immediately that I wasn't allowed to sit. Nobody else was treated that way or told to move. Including the family of 4 waiting at a table in the other corner. The food really is great, but it was not worth it for how I was treated today. There are a lot of other amazing restaurants in Sac that treat their customers way better.
I chose the chicken and waffles, the waffles were okay nothing too special about them but the chicken had a decent flavor. The chicken had a little spicy kick to it but for my liking it was salty. They also serve this with a fig and jalapeño syrup which wasn't too bad of a combination, still asked for regular syrup on the side and ate it with that instead. For beverages I asked for a guavamosa, wasn't that great, and my husband got a iced coffee. The coffee was okay. I just don't understand how this place is so packed and has really great reviews, this was my first time trying it and I honestly don't feel like I would come back again. The service is great! Maybe that's why people come? But I didn't find it to be as great as some reviews mentioned, this is why we chose to try this place because of previous reviews. Overall the food was OK but I think overpriced. For two chicken and waffles, iced coffee, and one mimosa we spent almost $70. Maybe that's a "normal" outing for two now a days

We had to wait in line but it was totally worth it .the food was amazing .I had the kitchen sink ,sooo good and my wife had the grilled cheese benedict. Everything was perfectly seasoned. Service was very nice and the food came fast .we will be back for more

This place was pretty busy for the middle of the week. The thing I was most impressed with was the hostess who did a great job and the waitstaff. They were all very great. They don't have a full coffee bar so you might have to go somewhere else if you want a specialty type of drink.
