Man how things change. Recently visited bacon & butter and it was just so.....not good. I order the biscuits and gravy dish (don't recall the name) and everything about this item was terrible. Who puts bacon on biscuits and gravy? Who puts hard dry overcooked bacon on biscuits and gravy? Who makes gravy that looks like water? And lastly who in the hell decided to top it off with scrambled eggs?? Literally the scrambled eggs were sitting on top of the biscuit soup. It looked horrible and tasted awful. only ordered it because it was a recommendation from our server who was extremely nice. 1000 percent don't recommend. Sent it back and for the chorizo burrito....what can I say...it was a burrito.... My breakfast date ordered the schnitzel. It might have been good but the size of the sandwich didn't agree with the size of his mouth. He needed a fork and knife. Said it tasted ok. Bigger is not always better. I bet we would have been happy had we ordered a sweet for breakfast...

Find was exceptional, the atmosphere was quaint. I haven't been back in 7 years and it was a better experience the 2nd time. The fruit was so fresh the portions were big but not too big. Made me wanna rry everything on the menu

Great food!! The service is wonderful and friendly. There is indoor/outdoor seating and it's very comfortable and a great place to hang out with friends and family. I have been there many times and they have never let me down.

The food exceeded every expectation. Every ingredient played its part so well and the food was curated to perfection. Our service was also so amazing. From the hostess to the server, to the bussers walking around, all of the staff was incredibly nice and made everything about the experience so much better. The server even handed us our check in a book and let us sign in the book which was so unique and I loved it. Lastly, the Ambiance of the restaurant was perfect. The layout was so nice, we sat down in the breakfast area near the high tops and this area was so nice. It was well decorated and it was extremely clean. I loved everything about this place, my only complaint is how busy it was but I place this good must be so busy. 10/10 would go back any day.

OMG is all I can say. Random find on a weekend getaway. But let me tell you the food was an absolute delight and I will definitely travel back just to eat here. The wait was around 30 minutes but is understandable given the high flow of folks coming to have their food . The host/hostess all friendly and very patient with everyone. The place it's self very clean and the environment family friendly. Recommend the breakfast burrito.( can feed two of light eaters) ,The chicken & waffle also yummy . For a sweet treat the cinnamon roll. If you are the kind to just have coffee and a biscuit you will have not regrets . Hope you guys enjoy just a much as we did

This is my husband’s favoritest breakfast/brunch spot in all of Sac! The food is delish! Service is ok most of the time, there’s always those waiters that are not very attentive, but that’s most places I think. Be prepared to wait in line though unless you arrive super duper early, they’re always packed! Worth the wait though ?
Favorite brunch place of all time, hands down. All of their menu items are at least amazing. If I go back to Sacramento, this is the spot to be! The service is great and the wait is worth it!

I’ve been here several times over the last few years and Bacon & Butter does not disappoint! I loved the bacon pancakes when they had them, the biscuit sandwich (wet) was my go to for a while, and then I tried the avocado toast recently and fell in love. Sometimes I just order a large side of their bacon gravy so I can have it at home, it’s as delicious as it sounds! I ordered the cinnamon roll on my way out a couple months ago and felt like I robbed myself all these years for not having tried it before! Been feening for another one ever since lol. The cinnamon rolls sell out sometimes so you have to get there or order online before 12pm I’d say.If you are a foodie you’ll love this place! Great service, unique dining experience, and add it to your favorites cause you’ll be up like me in the morning with a taste for bacon gravy or a cinnamon roll guaranteed!Pictured below is the avocado toast and biscuit sandwich! ?Parking: Parking fills up pretty fast and there’s typically a long wait on weekends. Go early!!

Great atmosphere. The apple pie french toast was amazing! I also tried the biscuit, but being honest, it wasn’t good for me. But I’m pretty sure other people can love it. A perfect place to start a day on weekend. I followed the advice to arrive early, and I found a seat without issues.
