Literally the best bakery ever. Better then ettories cakes. Anita is 1 of the best bakers ever. Everything is always fresh. Not heavily whipped like ettores cakes..which are ok..but always make me feel sick. But anyways great desserts here :))!!!

Whether your are looking for a savory meat filled turnover, or a decadent light dessert with the perfect amount of sweetness, Bakers Delight is the place to be! Simple, Fresh, Affordable! The staff is always incredibly friendly! The owner’s son is always very helpful. I drive 3 hours from Fresno, California JUST TO COME HERE. If you live locally and have not been to this bakery, you are missing out on this hidden gem!

TL;DR: one of the most underrated bakeries in Sac. Sadly no piroshky. His place has been on my radar for some time because it's inexpensive, quality, and may have piroshkies. Sadly they don't have them, but they do have a lot of tasty desserts on this Russian bakery. I tried an apricot cookie, napoleon, and lemon cake. All were very good for the price I paid. My favorite was the apricot cookie which was two cookies with apricot filling fused together with whipped cream. They were cute and delicious. The napoleon was light and fluffy and the lemon dessert was tasty and not too sweet. I rarely go to the north part of Sacramento, but this place makes me want to reconsider and explore North Sac more for my elusive piroshky.

Wow! What a find! We bought two slices of chocolate and lemon cakes and they were both delicious. No pretentious decoration or fancy ambience needed to enjoy their food. I love this place and will be back for more.
The family who owns this shop are very nice and friendly, stopping by for the first time and it's so nice, clean here. Can't wait to bring my niece here to try some more pastries!!

Bakers Delight is my favorite European bakery in town hands down. I go there every week to buy pastries. I really like that they have different varieties of pastries you can enjoy with cup of coffee or tea. You can just tell when it’s daily baked and delicious. Great spot for satisfying a sweet tooth and grab some to go! Wide variety of pastries and so much more. Definitely recommending to try a bite at this spot! I personally love it.

My husband & I went in here on Saturday night before they closed to get my parents a cake for their anniversary the next day last minute. We purchased a tiramisu cake & let me tell you this was by far the most delicious, {MOIST}, flavorful tiramisu we have tried. Not only was my husband and I blown away of the freshness & delicious taste of this cake but my parents couldn't stop praising this cake they kept asking where I got it & wanted more of it! The baker Anita was super sweet & helpful we will for sure be getting sweets from here for future events. Thank you Anita!
