The Blueprint Coffee Project on the Old Sacramento Waterfront is a true highlight for coffee lovers. Founded in 2020 in partnership with Project Church, this nonprofit cafe serves excellent specialty coffee from professional baristas. All proceeds go to support programs for Sacramento and the surrounding areas, making the visit doubly worthwhile. The central location at 1200 2nd Street, just one block from the Sacramento River, makes it easily accessible, with ample parking right out front. Opening hours from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. offer flexibility for early risers and late visitors alike. A visit to the Blueprint Coffee Project is not only a treat for the taste buds, but also a support for the community.

Ordered a dirty chai latte hot! Was delicious. Great atmosphere and service. Great place to relax with large windows , natural sunlight and simple tasteful decor!

Was visiting Sacramento and accidentally parked in the parking garage used for the church service. When I went back to leave, the gate was closed with no way of getting the car to leave. Contacted building security, who advised to contact the church. We asked the baristas for help to figure out how we could get into the parking garage. They were very helpful and contacted someone from church who gave us clear instructions on how to get in and leave the garage. Only one suggestion, it wasn’t very clear that the parking lot was for church use only. As a tourist, I thought it was the public parking (which is directly adjacent) and only saw cars going in. Seemed normal as it’s a popular area. I was handed a ticket to park but was not told it was for church only. Regardless, very thankful for your help. God bless.

I had a very disappointing experience at this coffee shop. The place was extremely noisy, apparently due to an event happening in the back, which made it impossible to enjoy a relaxing coffee break.
The service was incredibly slow. I ordered two coffees, but they only gave me one. I had to wait over 15 minutes for the second one, which is unacceptable for a simple order.
We also bought two croissants, and they were stale—dry and hard, almost like cardboard. To make matters worse, the latte that took forever to arrive tasted awful.
This place tries too hard to be fancy, but the quality simply doesn’t match the pretentious atmosphere. Definitely not worth it.

This is one of my favorite local coffee/tea shop spots! I'm obsessed with their iced matcha latte w/ vanilla. Tip: Parking adjacent and across the street is free before 10am on weekdays, otherwise park in a 15 minute spot or pay the minimum of 1 hour parking fee and pay it forward (if you're not planning to enjoy your drink and/or treats there). Great prices, friendly staff. Highly recommend!

I needed to kill a couple hours and this was the perfect place to do it. The atmosphere was relaxing and they played soft music. I was able to get work done and their coffee was great.
