Not a great start: the hostess seemed nonchalant about her job, motioning vaguely without getting up from her seat, "Your table is over there." We had to guess which one was ours, "This is our table? No? This one here?" I was surprised by the casualness of it all as I thought this was a nice restaurant. Did it have anything to do with the fact that we are people of color? Hmmm. My mood changed when our waitress provided terrific service. She had great recommendations...
Food was great! Drinks were average / below average. Friendly service but nothing special. It was my husband's birthday and although I mentioned on the reservation that it was a special occasion, there was no acknowledgement of it.
Excellent Service. I'm vegetarian and my husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. We're fairly new to the area and every single fine dining restaurant I called had nothing appealing for a vegetarian. While Brickland isn't fine dining, it's a very nice bistro with a nice atmosphere, wonderful staff and very good food. My appetizer was good. I had the kadoo bolani but the pastry was a bit overcooked on all edges which made it hard to cut. It tasted...
