Legit the friendliest and most warm reception in a family restaurant in Sac that I've experienced. The staff is super kind and very good at their jobs, and the food and drinks are always perfect. I sometimes come here when there are large groups and service is still fast and accurate. Highly recommend if you're in the area!!!

Wr travel and eat out often so.. First of all, our server, Tracy, is absolutely the best server, ever! I had the incredible artichoke sandwich It was amazing! My husband had a salad. It was a great lunch!

Great place for a quick drink. Live music seems to be happening every time I go there, obviously call ahead to verify, but they seem to have live bands regularly. Staff is 10 stars!

Stopped by last friday with my husband and we had a great time. He ordered the Cajun Pasta and I ordered the Pesto Tortellini. It was so good! Ashley, the server/ bartender is great!

We came across Brookside when trying to find a good spot to drink and eat on a Friday night. The service was great and we felt that they paid attention enough and checked in a good amount.
We ordered the prime rib and had it with a chicken tortilla soup. The food was overall good. I think exactly what you'd expect from a restaurant+bar. We only got a pitcher of beer so I can't really judge the drinks.
Bathrooms were clean and well set up. They have live bands play on weekends I think and it's not too loud and adds as a plus to atmosphere and ambience.

This was our third visit here. What a gem for the RC area. As others have said it seems like the it could be the Cheers Bar. All the food has been excellent. The service exceptional with Melissa. She makes the best margaritas & helped us find seating better suiting our needs. This is our new favorite place.

What a find. My son and I stumbled upon Brookside after a baseball tournament looking for a burger. What we found was the epitome of America, a mom and pop restaurant with amazing burgers and food, wholesome people that were super welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself traveling in or through Mather.
