i actually really like this place but the last few times i’ve come in the service has been lacking and i’m writing this review now because i decided to try to order ahead of time, called once no answer, okay they’re busy, called back later, put on hold for 10mins felt forgotten about having no one answering, okay they’re busy are very busy, tried to call back a third time after, forwarded to an answering machine. not cool.

Venue is roomy, service was fantastic and the food was delicious! Outside seating was plentiful and clean inside and out!

Great food. They have some amazing burgers in Tahoe.

The brisket fries were really good. I think if you have ever been to Famous Dave's this place comes in second. The meat was tender. It has less seasoning than famous Dave's, but it is still really good with the two sauces they have to try. I liked mixing my sauce to give it a better flavor. I had ribs and links. I loved the French fries because they reminded me of when I was a child and the fries at kfc had the perfect crunch batter. I also had the Oreo milkshake. It was good, I would just prefer a few more oreos. The place was clean,the staff friendly, and it was a fun place to watch the soccer game!

terrible customer service, especially with black people. If youre not hispanic presenting you will be ignored and looked at crazy. i tried to ask for napkins, given a blank stare then asked what why. i try and be nice and use spanish but i meant with blank stares. not a welcoming place for black people. i forgot their names but it is always a blonde women who is rude or a brunette with glasses. food is great but customer service is terrible. and they are rude to non hispanic people. Food is hit or miss and i will not be returning. This last experience here was terrible

Put in a mobile order said it would be ready in 15 minutes I arrive at the time it said it would be ready and found out they did not even give the ticket to the cook. I had to wait another 20 minutes for my food. The food looked and tasted like it was sitting under a heat lamp and reheated.

The meat was smoked to perfection and tender

Yesterday, I had the brisket burger with a salad. No joke, it was the best burger I have ever had. I will be back

Man, I really wanted to like this place. It had been on my radar for quite some time. The place and atmosphere is great. But boy, the brisket was dry and not very flavorful. The chicken was dry too. Thankfully the tri tip was good and tasty. The corn bread was good, the Mac and cheese was good, and the beans were good. But it was about $70 for me and my wife and the dry tasteless brisket just ruined it. I know restaurants sometimes have bad days, and I will give them another try one day, but man was I disappointed. :(

3-meat plate:
-brisket was by far the juiciest and among the most flavorful I've had anywhere (bonus half star)
-tri-tip was tender and very juicy, but bland (half star off) so I put smoky sauce on it
-ribs were some of the tastiest I've had anywhere, but the meat was a bit dry/overcooked at the edge (half star off)
-onion rings' batter was crispy and tasty, but the onions were still a bit soggy with beer (half star off)
-mac & cheese was good

Just had dinner here with my family and the food was good, but the service was TERRIBLE. The lady in the front behind the register was very rude. As soon as I walked in to get my DoorDash order, she saw me and immediately turned around to ignore me. I waited patiently for her to turn around so I may pick up my order. My family and I last minute decided to dine outside because the evening weather was so nice. We needed plates and utensils so when I asked the lady behind the counter for these items, she continuously rolled her eyes. Her own co-workers were also appalled at how rude she was being.

Lady behind the counter made it clear to just dine in next time and not DoorDash a pick up order because I verbally mentioned how rude and angry she was. Not once did anyone or the waitress check on us and we were not offered any water.

I understand it has been a long day and inside the restaurant was hot, but please do not treat your customers this way. This was a very unprofessional and unpleasant experience.

My husband and daughter dined here and said tri-tip and burger was good so I'll update this review when I get to try them! So far so good!
