I have lived in South Sacramento for years. I've seen this restaurant multiple times, but I'm not really sure why I never frequented this establishment sooner. I was very impressed. I left very full. The price was fair for the portions you get. I will definitely be back again and again. This place was great! P.S. the staff is amazing and extremely kind.

Great lunch spot. Everyone I've been with each time enjoyed their meals. Their crunchy chicken ? is simple and spot on delicious. They make me feel at home each time come here.

Always good food. A little different from many run of the mill Mex joints. I don't know what this style of mex is but there are some restaurants serving similar style. Really liked the old location and that neat old building, but the new place is very nice as well. Service was excellent! Not too expensive for a sit down restaurant, but a little bit more than a taquirea.

Love this place, one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. I've been coming here for about 3 years and never had a bad experience. There's many dishes I've tried here from their breakfast to their dinner and never had a plate that wasn't good. If you do go during dinner time, they serve a hot soup that changes once in a while but no matter what they put in it, it's always amazing(even in the summer believe or not). I also recommend getting the flower chips to go with your salsa(I've never seen them served anywhere else). All in all, a wonderful restaurant with awesome people and amazing food.

I recently planned a party in the Zapata room for 60 people and it was a huge success! Ulysses made the whole planning process seamless and he, Roy, Pepe, and the rest of the staff working the day of the party were incredibly helpful. The food was delicious, the place is beautiful, and everyone seemed genuinely invested in ensuring my family had the best party possible. Highly recommend!

Great chili Verde, they asked if I watered it spicy I said yes, they used Serano peppers, it was pretty spicy, but tasted great.
