I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!The food has been consistently the best mexican/americanized food i have ever had!I NEVER THOUGHTI would be able to enjoy mexican food outside of my own kitchen seeing how i ONLY LIKE GROUND BEEF tacos & the ground beef if they even have had that choice has NEVER BEEN GOOD! I find the outside seating for myself & my many friends whom I've turned onto Rick's prefer to sit outside having our marvelous margarita's (pitcher) playing dice while listening...read full review
Love this restaurant. Food is delicious, service is very good, best margaritas I've had in 30 years in Sacramento. Place is clean and has a traditional Mexican feel to it. Reminds me of some restaurants in Mexico. My favorites are the combo plates with either chili rellano or Pollo enchiladas with rice and beans. All meals include soup too.

I came to visit my hometown plainview,born and raised here!!,I wanted to see the Iglesia catholic,but I think it's closed ...and the "Lopez tiendita also closed down,I guess Rafael and Celia,no longer around,they were my padrinos,they baptized me when I was a baby....now I'm 43,but never forget them....I left plainview when I was 24 yrs old,now live in New York...but come to visit my cousins here in plainview!!!
