Rude cashier. Forgot my lemonade and charged me for a salad that I didn't ask for.Didn't put utensils or napkins in my togo bag.

Truly terrible service nearly an hour to get our food the server informed us if we had wanted our salads as appetizers we should have told her (so it was our fault apparently that they didn’t ask us when we wanted the salad served), the chicken was dry, the salmon was dry, the salad dressing oily, not served on the side as requested, they served luke warm water. Went with friends before going to theater next door. Will never go there again.

We've had lunch here on several occasions. The restaurant is very close to Sutter General Hospital. This is a fairly new restaurant and it is bright and cheery with lots of windows and lots of light. Orders are placed at the counter when you enter and then brought to your table. Casual atmosphere and dress. We usually both get the Chicken Chopped Salad and it is always so good. Highly recommend and we will be back.

We’ve been coming to the downtown location for year because we know everyone, and this evening, at a 104 degrees, we were asked to leave or sit outside with our “service dog” because a customer did not like dogs. We were shocked but not surprised as this Bernardos has had major turn-over. We will never return after all these years.

I had a great lunch @ Cafe Bernardo Midtown on 11/12/22. The tomato/bean soup, hamburger and sweet potato fries were delicious. The service was fast and friendly waiters. I will return and recommend this restaurant to other people.

We stopped by here for brunch to celebrate my "graduation" from radiation at Sutter. We were in the mood for eggs benedict. I have had eggs benedict all over the world including several times at the original restaurant at Brennans, New Orleans. The Bernardos Benedict uses rye bread instead of an English muffin, but I am okay with that if it was good. I was not impressed with the meal. Eggs were barely runny, lukewarm, the rye bread dry and tough, and seasoning so-so. Not the best I have had and borders on the worst. Staff were really nice, and it took a while for the food to come out, but not bad as they were busy. Doubt I will go back.

We were staying at the Fort Sutter Hilton and decided to try the restaurant that is attached. Our first morning's breakfast was served quickly and with such friendly service. The food was out of this world good. I had the avocado toast with two poached eggs and my husband had the Bacon and avocado omelette. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and were very busy each day but we continued to enjoy the restaurant. We had dinner two nights, the first night we tried the Salmon with forbidden rice...to die for! The cocktails were also well made and a little unique which was fun. The service once again was spot on. Everyone was working so hard to make each and every table feel as if they were getting the best experience possible. I admire that, especially right now when everywhere is so short staffed. We had a great breakfast again the next morning and a lovely dinner the next night as well. I had the Cubano sandwich which was yummy and my husband said his skirt steak was top notch. I can't wait to be back in Sacramento and enjoy Bernardo's again! Once again, a big thank you to the staff. We had rather heavy family business to deal with each day and the kind, helpful staff was so appreciated. Very impressed.

We went to Cafe Bernardo after a play at B Street Theater. Seated at 7:15 and were finally served our meal at 8:45 with no effort by the server to let us know the status of our order. Complained to the manager on our way out and all he said was that he was sorry. Won't be back.

I like this place, however, the service is terribly slow. Took me 45 minutes to get my French Toads and then it was even cold.

Extremely reasonable and classy place attached to a hotel, with lots of lovely outdoor seating on both sides of the restaurant. Large, reasonable, tasty portions for a good price, and a nice variety on the menu an friendly staff. Somehow it's a good combination of classy and casual, with a nice vibe inside at the bar/lounge area. Loved it.

Very pleased with this casual but upscale restaurant attached to the Fort Sutter Hotel (Hilton). Their Habanero burger was perfectly prepared and had just the perfect subtle habanero heat. The sweet potato fries were perfectly prepared and the J Pinot Noir was a good choice. Excellent service from our server, Chee. I would definitely return.

Looks like this cafe is in its second form tied to the Fort Sutter Hotel (?) I came down for coffee juice and a pastry. All were super good. There were many more options which all looked good. The staff is super nice and professional and cleaned up the soy milk I spilt all over the floor. Sorry about that. The space is clean and there is outdoor seating as well.
