California Burrito Mexican Food #5

A promotional offer was advertised for a $7.99 California burritos at all locations today on Wednesday 4/2/2025. However, I went at 5am to the location near me, I was told the offer starts at 6am. The hours should have been advertised as well. I didn't buy it or any of their food. I won't be coming back for a long time or at all. I rarely went before, this gives me another reason not to support their business.

Pretty good California burrito. The chips were just fine. The service was nice. The dining area was a bit run down, but works.

They handed me the wrong order, drove home, ate it anyway— and then found out the next day when I checked my card statement balance that they overcharged with the card reader. So instead of $3.55 I paid $4.13. Do I need to start bringing exact change/ cash to all of the Mexican places in sac? It really seems like there’s an up charging issue with the card readers. If you go to Mexican in Sacramento you can’t expect to not pay 💰 for the card fees? lol 😂 that’s so wack. Just saying your Mex isn’t that good and you’re overcharging plus pay attention bro—you gave me the wrong food.

They gave me some pozole with 4 pieces of meat in it and just all corn for $17. The meat was also tough and it tasted old.

First of all the service was terrible. The lady made my wife reach behind the counter to get our food because she was too busy to actually serve her. Then when we got home we all tried each others food and it was awful. The meat was bland. Had absolutely no flavor at all. 3/10. Do not recommend.

Asked for their ADVERTISED fresh tortillas and they didn't have any. Asked for patas in my menudo, they didn't have any.
Girl at the window was delightful, apologized for their shirt comings .

The staff is usually very friendly and on point with time management. The food is really good and you get what you order. I drive to this location for the quality of food and quality of service. (15-minute drive from my house, even though there's a location down the street from me.)

This place is so slow with all the new working . It take them to make a california burrito in 30 mins. Worker don't care about dine in customer. They rather get the order for the doordash person more then the customer that order first.

Parking: There is adequate parking in the front and the business shares a massive parking lot with several other businesses.

Kid-friendliness: There are single restrooms which are opened upon request that are clean and safe for family use. The menu offers checken nuggets and french fries.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a handicapped parking along the front of the building which leads to the ramp. If you have a lift you can simply pull right up and use the lift to let your passenger out and then park your vehicle. Extremely accessible.

My late night love. It's not the best food ever but it keeps me fed at midnight when I cant get to the grocery in time <3

I ordered a carne combo plate, which came with a medium drink. I ordered orchata (The carne meal was 16.99+ tax) and also a chorizo torta without cheese.

The carne was dried out and not fit to eat. We served it to our dogs.

The orchata tasted chalky, like there was sand in it.

The chorizo was made with cheese when I specifically asked for no cheese.

The rep taking the order gave me attitude, then served me terrible food that cost almost exactly $30.

I called this evening and asked to speak to the manager who I was told would be in tomorrow. When explaining my issue, the person who answered the phone HUNG UP ON ME.
