Walked down for a burrito today. Had the California Burrito with Carne Asada. Had a good flavor that isn't in all California Burritos!

First off this isn’t a review about the food because I did not try the food or really get an opportunity to. The customer service is beyond horrendous. I went in looking for something to eat, get a beer and watch the Kings game. When I went in I was shocked at the pricing but got a phone call before I could order. So I went back in after the call and wanted to get clarification on the menu prices because for a corner taco shop I had never seen $18-20 for a wet burrito or $16-18 for three tacos unless it was a sit down fancy establishment. So when I asked the man at the window were the prices correct and was it due to the law that went into effect he snapped at me and was beyond rude saying “if you knew then why are you asking” “it is what it is and that’s it” “you came in here before” So why does it matter if I was there before for a 30 seconds before I got a call? I just wanted to confirm if I was reading the menu board correct. Very rude and condescending and confrontational. Don’t waste your money especially for the prices then the rude treatment.

No more late night tacos, LAME!

Too expensive. 17 for a super burrito that was mediocre. 6 for a horchata, just way to expensive. No chips. I'm sad.

The food was so nasty. I ate one taco and half my nachos and my girlfriend ate the same on her nachos. 65 dollar meal and half went in the trash. Should have politely left when they didn’t have chicken. I don’t live down there was going to a dr appointment at Mather and the traffic was getting bad. So this is were we landed. Good thing too as traffic has released.

Julio and the crew make fire food here. We ordered multiple things because it all looked so good and everything was amazing. Service was really great on top of that. Can’t recommend this place enough!

My favorite tacos are their shrimp tacos! They have the best chipotle sauce and their tortillas are perfectly crunchy which hold everything together. They ask have great aguas frescas. This is the only place where I can ask for real authentic salsa with their chips! My partner also loves their quesabirrias!

The burritos are pricey, and they are mainly rice. Very little meat. The food was very bland. The guacamole tasted more like lime Maybe I’ll try something else on the menu . In all honesty, I cannot recommend.

Upon ordering vegan al pastor tacos and a vegan al pastor burrito for delivery, my husband and I were pleased to find our meal arrived hot and fresh, maintaining its flavors well. While we enjoyed the taste, we felt the flavor profile could have been more robust, and we wished for a broader range of options on the menu. Nevertheless, having access to vegan Mexican cuisine in our area is a rarity and something we greatly appreciate. Although the prices are on the higher side, we understand the value of quality ingredients and are willing to pay for them. The provided salsa added an extra kick to the meal and was particularly enjoyable. We eagerly anticipate seeing an expansion of the vegan menu in the future. :)

This place has decent food. Prices are a little high. It would be five star if they had a salsa bar with chips or were generous with including chips and salsa with the food.

I was skeptical at first because the food is a bit pricey. But $20 for the birria quesadilla was totally worth it. It was a large portion and pretty freakin good. The horchata was yummy but the guacamole was a bit salty. I love what they did with the patio. The cashier said they're expanding the menu so I'm so excited to have this new place in the area. It didn't disappoint. RIP La Garnacha

On my quest to find the best breakfast burrito in Sacramento, I tried the burrito here at California Street Tacos. It seemed like a decent amount of egg, but light on the meat. Overall, it seemed hastily assembled. Unfortunately, the salsa was too spicy for me to enjoy. If you like french fries in your burrito & aren't afraid of spicy, then this place might be for you.

The breakfast menu is very good. The pricing isn't the best in the market, but these days, that can be forgiven. The flavor is truly next level.
