The best in Natomas, service and food are tops. Enjoy the ambiance when dining with a great menu.

Fresh sushi with good quality ingredients. I got take out from here, so I can't say much about the service but the packaging of the food was beautiful. The presentation definitely shows the care they put into their food! We got two rolls and the chirashi. The fish tasted very fresh and good quality which is hard to find in Sac. The rolls were very good as well, though I can't say they wowed me. Overall, I think the quality of the fish is great but you are paying for it with the prices.

Everyone here is so nice and the food is immaculate. We had the omakase and several yuzu bombs and left home beyond satisfied. We will be regulars at this spot

When it comes to traditional nigiri/sashimi I'm always up for an adventure so when I heard about this new place (of all places in our Natomas neighborhood) that offers Omakase , I'm in! I made it to my 7:30pm reservation on time and was quickly seated. The Itamae and Shokunins were at work but were cordial and greeted me upon arrival. The whole staff were very attentive so I give them kudos. One of the guys presented me the menu for the appetizers and I obliged by ordering half dozen oysters. The salt water combo + the jelly they put on top of the half shelled oysters were excellent! It was a good prelude on what's to come. The sequence from the sea bream to the final piece (wagyu) was to die for. As far as food expectations they were met. However one thing that bothered me a bit is the ambiance. Not a knock on their setup but more on my expectations I guess coming to an Omakase bar. Based on the several Omakase dinners that I have been to, I look at the Chef as the artist preparing his canvas. From the time they start cutting and preparing all the way to presenting and explaining the source of the fishes is for me the highlight of the dinner. The morsels are just the icing on the cake! Presentation enhances everything. Overall the food is good but the sound system was a bit too loud so when I'm not able to interact in an intimate setting I felt rushed. Anyway I'm happy for Natomas to have such a quality Japanese Restaurant.

Chef Frank's is high quality sushi, and my new favorite place for celebratory dinners! I have had 2 different omakase menu's and they did not disappoint! Also the entire staff is so friendly.

Ordered the bento box for a quick lunch and it was very good! I had the salmon teriyaki and the tempura. We will definitely come back to try more of their dishes.

The Toro sushi with truffle is the bomb! Their bento combo sets are also good. I ordered mixed tempura (squash, potatoe, and shrimp) with tonkotsu. Nicely browned crispy crust. Not like some Japanese (in name only) places who never change their deep fryer oil, and it made the tempura and tonkotsu dishes look like they were dipped in motor oil. Staff are quite attentive, and always check on you and refill your drink. Overall, it's a pleasant experience and highly recommended. ?

We stopped in here last night and waited to be seated. We did the bento box and I had it with the salmon sashimi (2). The miso soup was good and so was the salad. I had trouble finishing my rice with just the chopsticks and didn't feel like asking for a spoon. The music was a little different as it seemed to be pop songs but with someone other than the original artist singing. I might do rolls and sashimi instead on another visit.

We came here on a Monday night for my husband's birthday. We tried the omakase and it was amazing. The experience and items were delicious from start to finish. The fish was so fresh and melted in our miuths. We will be back!

Best kept secret in Natomas, and maybe Sacramento! We are big fans of Kru for our upscale sushi nights. But no longer. Chef Franks is our go to stop when we want that high end sushi experience. The ingerdients are amazing, the food amazing and the service is top notch. Their only problem is there location is too small for them. They are going to have customers waiting out the door once word gets out on how good they are.

The best sushi in sac. You pay for quality ingredients and great flavor combinations, not pomposity. This doesn't waste your time on fake fancies, just on quality. Frank is great and our server Nicki was fantastic!
