I have had some bad dining experiences before, but my visit to Chili’s on Arden truly takes the cake—or, in this case, the wrong meal, twice.

Let me start with the one bright spot: Raul. He was the only person who seemed remotely interested in making sure we had a decent experience, and I truly appreciate his effort. Unfortunately, he was left to fend for himself while the other manager, Delaysha, was nowhere to be found.

From the start, it was clear that things were not running smoothly. Our bartender, Haley, was completely overwhelmed, lost in the weeds, and struggling to keep up. To make matters worse, she was clearly not feeling well and mentioned she couldn’t get her shift covered. So now, not only are we dealing with chaos and delays, but we also have a sick staff member handling drinks and interacting with guests. That’s a major concern in any restaurant.

But the real disaster? The kitchen.

A stranger and I placed our orders back-to-back. He not only received his food well before I did, but he also managed to finish his entire meal before my plate even arrived. When my food finally did show up, it was wrong—not once, but twice. By the time they managed to get it right, I was so frustrated that all I could do was laugh at how absurd the entire situation had become.

This was not just bad service; it was a complete failure in restaurant management. The lack of oversight, the disorganized service, and the sheer disregard for customer experience made it clear that this location is in serious need of leadership. Raul did everything he could, but without proper support, there was little he could do to salvage this train wreck of a meal.

Unfortunately, I won’t be back. If you’re considering dining here, be prepared for a night of confusion, delays, and disappointment—unless, of course, you enjoy watching a restaurant unravel in real time while being served by staff who should be home resting.

I had lunch on 2/27/25 Overall 8/10. Melissa, was my server. She was a 10/10. She brought the beers quick and was very attentive. The only reason the restaurant lost 2 points was because of the self checkout machines.

I hate to post this review because this was my favorite Chili's to visit but after the experience I had the other night I might not be visiting anymore. So, we had a party of 7. We were told that the wait would be 30-45 minutes because there was only 1 server on the side we needed to be seated. Mind you it was a busy Friday night at 9pm. We sat and waited. No one checked on us and other people walked in sat down and ate and even left before we even got seated. Finally after about an hour my brother asks how much longer before we got seated then the excuses started. Oh well this section is still busy and we might not be able to seat you all together. FF we got seated the waitress came over with an automatic attitude rushing us to put in our drink orders. A few moments later she came to take our food orders. My brother wasn't sure what he wanted to eat and her attitude grew. Then she tells him well I need to get your order because the kitchen closes at 11. I said to her jokingly well the kitchen will have to work a little overtime since we just got seated. Then she really got an attitude and said no the kitchen closes at 11 so we need to hurry up. So me being me I matched her energy and got an attitude back and said seriously this time well we were just seated at 10:25 so the kitchen will have to work overtime. She then walks away. I asked to speak to the manager and he comes over already on the defense. I explained everything that happened and told him I wanted to cancel my order because I didn't appreciate the attitude from the waitress. He then says to me that threatening to cancel my order is bad on him. I tell him it's not my fault that they didn't schedule their staff accordingly on a Friday night and I didn't appreciate being rushed to order my food. He says well one bad apple can spoil the bunch and everyone's order can be cancelled. I told him do what you have to do with my order because I'm leaving. Just very unprofessional and rude. Later my brother tells me that the manager apologized and said he would talk to the waitress because her behavior was not called for and the hostess for telling us the wrong time frame but I said too little too late. He didn't apologize to me. He had the worst attitude. I could have had an attitude from the moment we sat down because it was already late but I didn't but that girl made me take it there. Come to find out the GM wasn't even going to open the restaurant that day and now I can see why. I hope they get a good 1 on 1 on how to treat their customers or find new professions because service and hospitality ain't it.

I believe it was Goodwill I was at, since I haven't had food from Chili's in 20 + years, Cupertino I last remember. Saw Chili's thru fence @ parking lot when Nikki went, potty.

I ordered a full order of barbecue ribs yesterday via Grubhub. I have ordered the same order three times before with satisfaction! This time the ribs were extremely over cooked with no bbq sauce. Very unhappy with this order!

Last night I visited Chili’s with my family, and while the experience was a mix of highs and lows, there was one standout: Samantha, the host. She was incredibly caring and made us feel welcomed as soon as we walked in. Her warmth really set the tone for what we hoped would be a great meal.

Unfortunately, the service from our server, Chelsea, was less than stellar. It was a special occasion my little boys birthday and we were hoping for the usual birthday celebration. We were extremely disappointed when Chelsea not only didn’t bring out the free desert but also declined to sing for the birthday boy birthday This is a tradition at Chili’s, and it felt like a huge letdown for a child looking forward to a little birthday cheer.

While Samantha tried her best to make up for it, even brought us a to go desert the lack of birthday recognition by Chelsea really put a damper on our evening. It’s disappointing when the overall experience is overshadowed by poor service like that. Hopefully, they can address this in the future. And fix that poor server’s attitude.

Being raised with Latino extended family and a fairly particular cook I found the food very tasty just not as I'm used too. Service was outstanding, that gracious familiarity that comes with Latino culture. Atmosphere, In one of the prettiest areas of Santa Rosa. The natural creek and trees holds some peace perfect with the Bohemian vibe of the various shops and eateries.

Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices

Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere for families with the treat for little ones of watching tortilla made and brought to table warm and fresh.
