My second time here and I ordered the vegan fish online but they were out. I had the curry 'chicken' (lion's mane mushrooms) instead and it was so good! Spicy and very flavorful.
I walked in and the reggae music and spice smells ushered me into a 🇯🇲intoxication and I INSTANTLY felt at home (I was 🇯🇲 in my “former life “🤣). I’ve been missing authentic Jamaican food since I left Atlanta in 2021. This food was SOO good! This restaurant is an hour drive from me, but this is definitely good enough to take a drive just to eat some GUD, gud fod, Mon!
very good food and good nice people that work there great clean place to eat great music

Dubplate Kitchen & Jamaican Cuisine is a popular spot for authentic Jamaican cuisine. The restaurant is owned and operated by a woman who creates a welcoming atmosphere. The food is the highlight, with visitors raving about the flavors and quality. The curry chicken is a standout, praised for its flavor and generous portions. The jerk chicken and beef patty are also highly recommended. Customers have described the food as delicious and authentic, with one visitor stating they have been searching for Caribbean food in the area and "absolutely fell in love" with the place. The portions are generous, and dishes such as the jerk chicken and oxtail plate are praised as the best and most authentic Jamaican food in the region. The oxtail meal is especially popular, noted for its good flavor and tender meat, though some feel it could include more plantains, especially considering the cost. The curry goat remains a favorite among customers. The aroma of the food hits visitors as they walk in, creating an inviting atmosphere. The jerk chicken is praised for its deep, smoky, and well-marinated flavor, though some note it is not very spicy, possibly due to the absence of scotch bonnet peppers. The curry goat is described as bold, meaty, and beautifully seasoned, slow-cooked to a fall-off-the-bone texture. Portions are generous, and the staff are warm and welcoming. While service can sometimes be slow, the quality of the food makes up for it. Overall, Dubplate Kitchen offers an authentic Jamaican experience that keeps customers coming back for more.
