My fav chicken on the go place since i was a high school student on the beach in Santa Monica. Why? Tear off some of their delicious chick place it in a warm flour tortilla, add their beans along that one red sauce of minced tomato, celantro and onions and BOOM! Now, I need a nap.
This particular location is great because the staff are nice even under pressure from the lunch rush as this one can get busy.
Vegetarian options: Make sure what looks go to you does mot have meat ingredients and order away.

They are nice & friendly. They get busy but they are an organized machine and will still promptly get your order to you. The food....let me just say that I keep going there, all the time. With the recent increases in fast food prices, I don't notice it at El Pollo Loco. As an example, go to Jack I get 2 sandwiches (no combo and not even their most expensive) $25. When I go to El Pollo Loco 2 AL Carbon combos which are 3 tacos, chips and a drink plus a large Chipotle Avocado Burrito (split between 2 people) all that $25. Your stuffed if you can eat it all. Most likely you are stuffed and you didn't eat it all. El Pollo Loco comes highly recommended from me!
Parking: I'll just say plenty of parking. Able to park with ease.
It was so disappointing to see how old my food was. It looks like it had been sitting in the warmer ALL day before I got it. The meat on the wings was so old it was not edible.

They were out of avocado but charged me the same price for a meal "avocado quiesadilas" without avocado.
Like another guy said - I was in and out of the drive thru in like MAX 5 minutes total for a 16 piece family meal and a stuffed quesadilla! The food smelled AMAZING in the car ride home lol Got it home and just as delicious! If you love cheese/quesadillas, I'd highly recommend the stuffed quesadillas - they're not a permanent menu item but whenever they have them, omg ? Great balance of ingredients, not just the usual meat & cheese by any means! Esp the poblano one right now - ask for extra creamy cilantro sauce on the side! You won't regret it!
