I just picked up my mobile order and this was one of the nastiest experiences ever. The guacamole they served me was literally dark brown/green, almost black looking. The color alone should’ve been the first warning sign, but when I tasted it, it was bitter, sour, slimy, and smelled rotten. It was straight up disgusting !!! I nearly threw up after just one chip.
The chips were stale the whole plate was cold, sloppy, and inedible. Nothing about this felt safe or fresh. Serving guac that dark and spoiled is not just low quality, it’s a health hazard.
I will be reporting this to the Sacramento County Environmental Health Department because this should NEVER be served to paying customers. People need to know before they end up sick. Avoid this place at all costs.

I've been here many times with no issues. For some odd reason today, I was told to pull forward and park out back to get my food. This is where the dumpsters are. Why would you have anybody pick up their order here? Note that I was the only person in the drive thru and there was no reason to pull forward. I've seen the place slammed and everyone just gets their food at the window. I can maybe understand parking out front if it was actually busy, but this isn't where I was told to go. I have never been rude to them nor did I get any kind of apology for what happened. It is surely a health violation to receive your food where trash and flies are. I will not return. With this kind of weird judgement, I wouldn't trust these folks with your food.

I went to el pollo Loco Aug 15 2025 the experience was great although the prices are a little high now it was worth it . Rebeca was very helpful attentive and polite while taking my order will be going back.

Ordered thru the app, picked up, got it home.paid extra for avocado, guac, and cheese for multiple items - none of it was there! Food was super bland. Ordered the street corn bowl, half the ingredients were hot the other ice cold (beans). Burrito and taco were at the bottom of the bag, squished. Of course the bag was sealed when picked up. We won't be ordering here again. Seriously, do better, especially when we pay extra for add on items.

Food is good and if you don't want it dry tell them to get the chicken that has not been cooking the longest. They will get you a moist piece if y'all ask for it.

I've had some bad El Pollo Loco before, so I'm always nervous. But when it's good, it slaps (as the kids say). This location is really on top of it. Everything was hot. Didn't taste like it had been sitting around. Fresh. Yum. Friendly people. It was good stuff.

Thanks for the response...I think I do have to expand my orders at Pollo...I always get the same things usually...and I agree with one of the contributors...those burritos are small...I was surprised by this the 2st time I had it...but Pollo gets 9.5 with me all day
