The food here is delicious and so fresh! It's different than all the other places, they have their own flavors going on. Great portions, too ! Try the chicken shawarma.. you won't be disappointed!! Super friendly folks, clean restaurant in a remodeled strip mall. Plenty of parking, too.

This was the first time we visited this place. Ambience was good. They had a deal on Qabuli Pulao. If you buy one for $19.99, the second one is 50% off. That sounded like a good deal. So we ordered Qabuli Pulao and a Chicken Kabob platter. It took at least 15 minutes for the food to be served. First we got the Qabuli Pulao; the meat was steaming hot, but the rice was cold and half cooked. We took it back to the person at the counter and complained about it. He apologized for the inconvenience and asked us to wait. In the mean time, we got the Chicken Kabob with Salad, Hummus, Pita Bread, and Rice, which was not bad. A few minutes later, the Qabuli Pulao was served with the same rice as we got on the platter instead of the Pulao. We didn’t have any other option than accepting it since we already paid. It was not a pleasant experience and a bad day for us. The 3 stars are for the ambience, cleanliness, and customer service.

Note: this restaurant is Halal, and Accepts EBT food stamps! They have Juice and Smoothie bar, burgers, and a full Greek gyro and shawarma menu. Price point: Excellent price and value.
The food here is absolutely amazing. I ordered the beef and lamb shawarma platter, an extra side of saffron rice, and the double cheeseburgers with fries and a drink. The shawarma platter was delicious and came with beef and lamb shawarma, pita bread, dipping sauce, hummus, saffron rice, and a cucumber salad salad. Everything was delicious and had different flavor profiles that were refreshing to the palette and just right. Totally worth the $15. The double cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and came with lettuce, purple onion, lettuce, tomato, and house sauce on it. Honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had at a restaurant and it didn't need anything extra . The fries were thick cut, crispy outsides and soft insides. They were lightly salted and tasted so good they didn't need any ketchup. The flavor actually reminded me of McDonald's original French fries before they changed the recipe. The saffron rice was fluffy, aromatic, and elegant. The flavor profile was subtle yet pleasant. The interior is clean with a clean restroom. Plenty of sitting room inside as well. The staff was friendly, professional, and did a great job. Nothing bad to say about this place. We need a flash mob of foodies to come buy and support this newer restaurant. Business is slow here and they really need customers! Honestly the food is so good they should have daily lines out the door and down the sidewalk. I am a top rated Google guide, and this is the highest praise I've ever given to a restaurant.
Dietary restrictions: This restaurant is %100 Halal. Meaning it meets scriptural standards for food. The menu is all beef, chicken, or lamb, or vegetarian depending on what you order. You will not find pork, or shellfish here.
Parking: Plenty of parking, located in a shopping center with tons of places to park around.

I've been here about so mant times especially since being pregnant and the food has always been good. I always get either chicken Shawarma or butter chicken. Today I got butter chicken and it gave me food poisoning. I've been throwing up all day and had to go to urgent care.

I recently tried Middle Eastern food for the first time at Gyro Genie, and I was content with the experience! I ordered takeout, choosing the Lamb Beef Shawarma, Super Duper Platter, Lamb Shish Kabob, and Chicken Tikka Masala. Everything was delicious, with the meats perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The rice was just right, and the naan was a perfect match for the dishes. The restaurant was very clean, and the polite employee made the pickup easy. With generous portions at affordable prices, it's a fantastic spot to support local business. There’s plenty of parking, so it's convenient to stop by. However, I recommend calling in your order if you’re getting takeout, as the website didn’t notify them of my order until I called to confirm. Overall, I highly recommend Gyro Genie to anyone eager to explore Middle Eastern cuisine or just looking for a great meal!
Parking: Strip mall location, plenty of parking spots available.

They have excellent super duper platter! Their biryani and Karahi were also perfect, but I think they don’t have these two dishes on their menu anymore.

I will never rate a place if I didnt personally think the food is stupendous. And then I always ask whom I am with what they think. I'm a bit of a food snob, being born and raised in nyc. Especially as far as halal, Chinese, Italian, and Puerto Rican cuisine is involved. This place makes a flavorful lamb over rice, with decent falafel. Would definitely recommend if you are searching for a halal spot that delivers on all fronts. The rice, meat, salad, hummus, falafel, and sauce were absolutely delicious.
