Afghan Pita Market & Restaurant

I have passed by this place many times and decided to take the plunge. It's a combination market and restaurant. The restaurant is in the back so there is no way to see it from the front. After greeting the cashier in the front, I made my way back to the restaurant. It was like visiting a small cafe in Kabul, Afghanistan with booths made for sitting on the floor with big screen tv's and just an overall delightful Afghan decor. I ordered the chicken shawarma from a very friendly staff. I could tell it was a family owned restaurant. The wait was a little longer than I had hoped for but it was worth the wait. The shawarma wrap was delicious and filling with a savory tsiki sauce and fresh vegetables. Loved it!

Very spoiled food, nothing edible. The cleanliness of the shop is also very bad, the food is very smelly. Taking a lot of time for the order. It is really unfortunate

The chapli kabab was not fully baked and it did not taste good at all. it did not have salt at all and also masala and like i said not fully baked at all . I will never order from here again.

The worst Qanuli Palaw I eat ever which had a very bad smell I though all of that in the Garbage. And they serve red beans with that which was very hard to eat. I will not go there anymore.

So confused. It was open but there was no fresh food or deli display. Also the restaurant in the back only had Sikh Kabob and nothing else. Market side was very tiny. I was here at 12 pm. Maybe people don’t buy groceries or eat at this time?

Awesome food little change in menu added afghani style food afghani Palaw((Rice)Dopeza(beef)with little vegetable.

I came 8:30 the time that google said they opened on and they were closed I was looking a round I saw a paper on the door that they said they open at 9:30 every day now it's 9:35 and they still closed :( that's alone wait! First change your time on Google . Second opening time ⏲️!!!

Amazing restaurant and market

The guy who just answered the phone today January 18th is such a rude and disrespectful guy.I asked if they have soup ? He said yes we do and I asked for the ingredients but he didn’t know it and he said there is everything in it ? I said everything? What do you mean by everything? Can you please explain the ingredients of it? He said honestly they don’t know what’s the ingredients of their soup? I said so basically you guys don’t know what you are feeding to the people? And that’s when he got so disrespectful and made fun of my English while he had the weirdest foreign accent.

Very good market and restaurant.

Ended up going in on a fluke, saw the baklava picture on the window and wanted to try it. Everybody was great in this place (not just workers) we ended up having lunch and had the greatest conversation with worldly and cultured people. I had a great time on what was intended to be a quick stop. Falafel, baklava, kabob were all fantastic. Definitely going back on the regular!
