The food I hear is good, although I haven’t personally eaten here yet as I’ve only experienced it as a delivery driver. I had an extremely uncomfortable experience today. While waiting to pick up an order, I watched an employee put an unlit cigarette in his mouth and continue to package food up. He also knew I was waiting for an order, which after waiting for ten minutes was found on the counter by another employee after he decided to finally take his cigarette break, an action which he proclaimed out loud to apparently gain sympathy from me and the folks who were also waiting for orders in the lobby… I would definitely hope they see this review and make some adjustments.

My first time trying this place, I ordered the dinner combos for myself and my family. We got walnut chicken, broccoli beef, orange chicken with an order of egg rolls. All of the plates came with a lot of chow mein and rice. The portions were really good but the quality of the food not so good. The broccoli in the broccoli beef and the egg rolls were the only thing that was good. The chow mein and rice were dry, hard and chewy, it tasted like it had been sitting there for a while. The chicken tasted like it was fried twice so parts of it were like chicken jerky and bland in flavor. The egg rolls came with cream cheese wontons, the edges on the cream cheese wontons were hard. My kids normally gobble up their Chinese food but today, neither finished their plate. There is no area to sit to eat, you pick up food and go. The staff was nice; normally the small spots are the good spots but not today, I get better quality food at fortune on 12th ave. We won’t be returning.

My recent experience with Happy Takeout was nothing short of delightful. Ordering was a breeze through their user-friendly app, and the delivery arrived promptly within the estimated time frame. The food was carefully packaged and arrived fresh and hot, exceeding my expectations in terms of taste and quality.

Food is good. They was busy af lol. The guy that took my order was very respectful. I ordered the salt n pepper chicken and shrimp chow mein. The chicken tasted kinda sweet to me. The shrimp chow mein was very good. They cook your food right after you order so my food was hot. Will be coming back again for a lunch combo.

Called in 7:06pm to place my order.. at the end of the 2 minute call I was told my food would be ready in 10 minutes, maybe 15 minutes due to the Salt & Pepper chicken wings taking a bit longer to cook. I arrived around 7:15pm, made my payment and was told my food wasn't ready, it'd be about 3 more minutes. I finally walked out with my food around 7:50pm. My Orange chicken was red, lol, overcooked and tough. The wings were also overcooked in dirty grease. Total spent was nearly $51 and I regret spending every dime ?.

Don't expect your order at the estimated time. Add another 30-45 minutes.

I saw that one post with the bug, I still ate here twice this week?‍♀️ I had no bugs each time I ordered, maybe it was just a daily special ??I love their orange chicken and how it's a lil spicy. This is the best orange chicken I've had tbh, and it's probably because they did something different by making it slightly spicy (my partner says it's medium spicy but I think it's very mild).?My partner loves the flavour of the sweet and sour pork.✨️?‍♀️I wish they also had the option of steamed or boiled veggies instead of rice or chowmein.?Their wontons are a little under-filled but I don't really come here for those.

Great food! I ordered pot stickers and BBQ Pork Fried Rice. The pot stickers were just okay, I wouldn't get them again. The fried rice was very very good and will definitely have me returning to try more. It made up for the okay pot stickers! Worth a visit for some take out.

Used to be a fan until I just rode past to get some food and saw they have a cat inside a restaurant and they got the cage right next to the front door. That is so nasty to me.
