We had a phenomenal time for date night! The service was phenomenal and the drinks + food were great. The service was excellent. Burrata con prosciutto appetizer was delicious. The scalloppine was decent, and the pork chop special was delicious. The molten chocolate cake was rich, but we were missing the hint nutella flavor in the banana bread dessert. Overall amazing experience - we will be back!!

We chose Il Forniao to celebrate the birthday of a couple of friends passing through Sacramento on their way to Bend Oregon from San Diego for the Thanksgiving holiday. It couldn't have been a more perfect evening. From the gracious welcome of the hostess and Frederick, General Manager, to our server, the delicious food, noise level which allowed comfortable conversation. Family joined us for a recent Saturday dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Sacramento's Il Fornaio. The kitchen staff did not disappoint.
