They offer a variety of salads. I had a delicious sandwich there. It's a great place for vegetarians especially if you like salad.

Came here on recommendation from some locals. They were not wrong to send here. Some fantastic garlic fries and a pretty solid pesto sandwich. I don't think their was any one item that really spoke to us as a group, but everything was good. Would definitely be willing to come back and try some more off the menu.

Disappointed about the quality of food and service at Jack's. Tonight I ordered a salmon salad. Got it home to find out the salmon was missing. Called the restaurant . Employee didn't even apologize for the oversight. Just laughed. I typicallly ourchase fish dishes. But in the past few visits, fish has been severely overcooked and dry. Sorry i have to say Jacks is lacking quality controll in more than one area.

This would be a very nice place if their salads were organic. People think they're eating healthy when they order green but instead getting loaded with pesticides 🙄
Please Jacks go organic for the salads and support local organic farmers!

Used to be better. Been here 6 years ago with the no longer wife. Had a tri tip sandwich as usual and she had a Mediterranean salad, was super good back then. Recent visit however, not so good. My diet changed due to s*** going on with my health, so this time i wanted the Mediterranean salad, but it was no longer on the menu. So i went with my always go to tri tip. Ordered it and it was ready in about 2 minutes. Way too fast. The entire sandwich was cold and falling apart. Not pleased with that. Worth saying 3 stars for previous visit, if it was my 1st it would be a 1 star review.

I recently dined at Jack’s Urban Eats in Sacramento, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! This place has nailed the art of serving up fresh, flavorful food in a laid-back, urban vibe that’s quintessentially California. I went for their famous tri-tip sandwich, and it did not disappoint—tender, juicy meat piled high on artisan bread that’s sourced locally, with just the right amount of seasoning to make every bite pop. Paired it with their urban fries, which are a crispy, garlicky masterpiece—seriously, they’re worth the visit alone.
The salad options are a big draw too; I watched them craft a custom one for the person ahead of me, loaded with seasonal veggies and a house-made dressing that looked incredible. The staff was super friendly and quick, even though the place was buzzing during the lunch rush. You order at the counter, but it’s not your typical fast-food feel—the food comes out fresh and hot, and the portions are generous enough to leave you satisfied without feeling stuffed.
The atmosphere is casual and eclectic, with cool artwork and a playlist that keeps the energy up without being overwhelming. I loved the outdoor patio option too—perfect for a sunny day. Prices are a tad higher than your average quick bite, but the quality and portion size make it worth every penny. My only tiny wish? Maybe a few more veggie side options to balance out the heavier stuff. All in all, Jack’s Urban Eats is a gem for anyone craving hearty, farm-fresh eats with a modern twist. I’ll be back—those fries are calling my name!

Had a named (didn’t create one) chicken salad and Turkey Corn Soup. Too many weeds, too little chicken. Lesson: make my own salad with lettuce and spinach. Soup was good.

I had the tri-tip sandwich with fries. It was pretty delicious. I felt full at the end, but the food was so clean that I still had energy. The buttermilk ranch was really good!

A good variety of food meat and salad selections however some side dishes are pretty mediocre such as their mac and cheese. But I have to give him a lot of credit for the Jack fries those are pretty delicious

I visited Jack's Urban Eats for lunch and ordered the steak salad. While the ingredients were fresh and flavorful, the steak was slightly undercooked for my liking, which affected the overall experience. The service was decent, but the atmosphere felt a bit lacking compared to other similar places. There’s potential here, but I’d recommend checking on steak preparation if ordering the same dish.
