I’ve patronized this business for over 25 years and even though Management has changed I still get the same quality soul food.

The catfish is soooooo good. The chicken is good too but you have to tell them to fry it fresh or else they gone give you whatever’s sitting under that light.

1) never understood why they took away EBT food stamps.
2) not the type of people to be making soul food.
3) overpriced for canned food basically.
4) needs to shutdown entirely. I'm convinced the only people that like this place food is the ones who didnt grow up with home cooked meals.

Breakfast plate for less than $10 includes bacon, 2 eggs how you want, hashbrowns and/or grits with 2 pieces of toast, jam and salt/pepper packets included! Place order at front counter, get order ticket , wait in car approximately 10 minutes. Receive food for order ticket in the back where food is cooked. Mind your business, use manners and tell auntie at the register thank you! May have to leave and come back later due to activities in parking lot, like I said mind your business!!
I’ve been coming here for years, the new owners have completely failed at soul food. The mac & cheese is made with nacho cheese that’s not soul food mac & cheese, no seasoning, vinegar, or sugar just bits of bacon in the Collard greens. The catfish nuggets were ok nothing much to say just average catfish nuggets, it could have used some seasoning like garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. For tartar sauce, they hand you packets wasn’t homemade or original. There are no desserts like peach cobbler or banana pudding. The customer service was good however the entire store needs a deep clean…. Very disgusting and dirty. I would NOT recommend this place…it’s a BIG NO NO for me!
