I can't say I'll be coming here again. Inside smelled weird. Outside felt like a hastily assembled dining area from covid times. Halloween decor still up on Nov2nd? Maybe I'm being picky with that one.
I don't know how to feel about having to reserve a sticky picnic bench.
The service was kind, but very slow. Several times a waiter would check on a neighboring table, and we got completely ignored. For having to reserve our table, this wasn't the experience I was expecting.
Food and drinks were great, but for the prices they're charging, I expect better from the whole experience and the service. Especially in this economy, when I go out for a night of fun with friends, I don't want to feel like I might as well have made drinks and tacos for 1/4 the cost at home..

In all honesty, my experience here was terrible from the beginning… so much so that I’m writing this right after I left when it was supposed to be a night out at the bars. From the start the host was not friendly nor had good customer service what so ever, within the first couple minutes of being there I wanted to walk out but my bf and I decided to give it another shot. We got sat and waited 15 mins before the server finally came over to take our order/ greet us. Which as being a server myself is hard to do, but at the very least I make up for it once I finally make it to the table. But Cynthia did not. Right after I said my drink order following my bf order she walked away with no acknowledgment for anything to eat or just simple acknowledgement that she got our order, she just walked away. And this is more than just wait times Because although waiting another 15+ mins for our drinks we were ready to close out and once the server Cynthia dropped the paying device on the table we were bugged 3 times about it we paid, which I find very disrespectful, but on top of that. Once I tapped my card hit no recipe I exited out and handed her the device that she so desperately
needed to bug us 3 times about in the 5 minute period. Where she proceeded to tell us to wait till she saw that we actaully paid. And as someone who works in food industry let alone a server myself, I found it incredibly disrespectful and in all honestly if I had the heart to leave no tip… I would’ve.

I never really go out and the one night I did I regret ever coming here. We had walked from Harlows after a show and mind you I don't drink heavily and I am mindful about the amount of drinks I have but once me and my friend got there they just automatically shoved glasses of water at us. Mind you we weren't belligerent or acting drunk the total opposite we were kind and greeted people and yet the male bartender didn't even ask what we wanted or anything. I assumed the people we were with were regulars and they were able to get a round. I was confused. When we finally decided to order a drink the bartender clearly informed us that he would not be serving us at all that night so there's no point. One that's rude and there was no explanation as to why. I was dumbfounded. What I gathered from him was he was discriminating us because we are Mexican, automatically assuming what state we were in when he failed to realize the people he served that were with us drank 10x more than we did I paid attention at Harlows as well as they kept asking us for cocaine which we became uncomfortable with and kept informing them we don't do that but I guess if that's the clientele they like to keep then ok. It wasn't worth arguing but never again would I step foot in here or recommend. I have never felt so unwelcome and singled out somewhere. We had our own money and able to pay for our own drinks so not sure what he asassumed. I was highly disappointed and for the bartender who was rude and what not I hope you obtain more love and happiness in your life and don't judge a book by it's cover because you obviously were wrong and don't know how to read people. The guys that were talking to us were weirdos and creepy.....your regulars as they stated so work on yourself. Be better ?

Not for new customers. Be aware that if you are not a regular you will be treated as second priority. Shame I had such high hopes for the mystique of this place. Waited more than an hour to order 2 drinks which were glorified slush puppies. I wanted to order a good amount of food, but after the wait for the first appetizer I was not going to wait for a second round of drinks and food. The owner had to point us out to the server who mumbled under breath something like " ok they'll have to wait" or " they can wait". Then he came to us annoyed and said "it'll be another minute before I get to you". It had been 45min with no check up. The kicker, hey this food item looks great I think I'll order that. Waiter finally arrives "Sorry we are all out of that popular item" After two drinks and some wings I had to cut our losses.

We didn’t eat here so cannot comment on the food but the drinks were great and the bartenders were so friendly and fun. We got there right when they opened so we could see the decor easily and we loved it! Each room has a different vibe and we loved them all.

I've been to Jungle Bird a handful of times now and the bartenders and waiters are always very friendly. It's a wonderfully themed tiki bar with tasty drinks and it's not too crowded during the weekdays.
