Great atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive server. Drinks are labeled based on their strength which is really helpful. Definitely recommend stopping by here for at least one drink if you're bar hopping.

Walking in you can sit at the welcoming bar where personable bartenders like Adam will be making the drinks just as strong as the skull heads say they are. Our favorite is the Plankwalker. Or you can sit with a group in the back and enjoy the menu with delicious food, the Pu Pu plater and Huli Huli wings are such a great share starter and the Spam rice or Bowl are a nice dish if you want a meal to yourself. We keep enjoying it so it’s definitely recommended 🍹

Love this place, the staff was pleasant, got our drinks and food promptly. Our server was funny, and checked on us to make sure everything was ok, or if we needed anything, made it a great experience. If you have never been to Jungle Bird, I would recommend it 100%

A Sacramento Tiki institution. I’m a big fan of all things in that realm and can fully attest - Jungle Bird does everything - drinks, ambiance, food, vibes - right. Still going strong since 2017 🤘
Yesterday was the first time I visited this place with a friend. We paid the $10 rsvp table fee for a 8 pm booking. We weren't allowed to sit in the back area, where there is more space and better things to look at. We were told the back is for larger groups.
But from the previous visitors pictures posted on here, that's not accurate. I came to check out the ambience. And not to be cramped up in the front entry seating area by the big chair photo op.
There wasn't any large groups there, and plenty of space and booths in the back. We immediately left. If you're encouraging people to r$vp a table at least give them better seating options.
We were told that a refund will be issued by the rsvp service we booked through in 48 hrs 🙄 or by the manger if its beyond that time.

Very fun spot to have a drink with friends. Love the simulated lightning. Service was great. I got the yakisoba noodles and pork belly which was delicious. It seems like there's a big gap between 2 and 3 skulls on the menu in terms of alcohol content- my friends were much more buzzed than I was!

Absolutely mind blowing that this place doesn’t have a clean 5 stars. Anyone who complaining about the service probably came in drunk. Those complaining about the food need to get a grip that they’re at a COCKTAIL bar. I digress.
Excellent drinks, excellent prices, excellent service. Any other major city, this place would be double the price and half the fun. Sacramento, you have yourselves a hidden gem. Don’t waste it!
