I've been coming to this restaurant for years, and the food is always incredible consistently some of the best Mexican food in town. The flavors are out of this world, and everything is always fresh and perfectly cooked. I actually eat the beans and rice which I never like at mexican restaurant. They're just so fresh and moist there. I've recommended it to so many friends that now it's become the restaurant they visit weekly, and I almost regret it because it's become very popular! Some nights you may have to wait only a minutes for a table, but it's worth it every time.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and now they've added cocktails with a fantastic bartender who makes great drinks. Between the amazing food, great service, and new bar tender, it's easy to see why everyone keeps coming back week after week. Honestly, I almost don't want to leave a good review just to keep it a secret... but this place deserves all the recognition.

I’m hitting up Mezcal Grill on Broadway to try one of their micheladas! Their menu is a hint of Tex-Mex and Californian influences which adds a unique and exciting twist to their offerings. The food is delicious, the atmosphere, relaxed and the michelada is definitely in the top two for NorCal!!! #mezcalgrill #michelada

Ordered Steak fajitas. Food was good tasting but when I dipped my chip into my salsa there was a baby German roach on it (according to google). I’ve never seen these before and haven’t encountered this in my home. The roach appeared after I dipped my chip into the salsa/guac and wasn’t on there when I picked the chip up. I still ate my food after this, because I thought it was just a natural insect that comes sometimes with fresh vegetables. Upon searching the image, it came back as a roach and now I’m scared to eat the rest of my meal. Unfortunate as it tasted good but now a large portion has gone to waste.

One of my favorite spots. Everyone here is so kind and welcoming, and the food/drinks are top notch.
Food was initially delicious (loved the chips and salsa) and our first server was amazing, but it seems they changed shifts and we had some issues.
Firstly, they mixed our table up with another table’s order. We were later charged for the other table’s meal as well as our own, but they luckily caught their mistake and refunded us.
Secondly is the worst- I found pieces of meat in my veggie bowl! 🤢 I felt very ill and even had to excuse myself to the bathroom for a good cry because the food just made me so nauseous and thinking of the murdered animal- horrendous. They offered to remake the meal, but by the time it came out, I was so gravely ill with nausea and stomach cramps that I needed to leave the restaurant. They charged me full price and I was in no condition to stay and argue. They were not as compassionate or apologetic as I would have liked.
There weren’t any outright vegan options, but the veggie ones (mostly the burrito/bowl) can be made vegan. What can I say. I wanted to like it, but what a horrifying experience.
