We ordered the bibimbap. It was so good! Love all the sides they provide. Staff was friendly and attentive. Cute little place that's now made it onto our list of date night ideas. The restaurant is well decorated.

I've heard really good things about this restaurant so had been wanting to try it for a while. We ordered our usual go to Korean dishes, plus the addition of raw marinated crab which I've never seen anywhere in sacramento so far. Everything was pretty good, except the raw marinated crab was much more spicy than I expected it to be. The flavors were delicious and it was super addicting to eat, but I couldn't eat much of it cause my heat tolerance isn't that high. The seafood pancake, bossam, and galbi were all good as well, but notably smaller portion sizes compared to YD Tofu house which is our favorite sit down non AYCE place. Overall, everything was delicious and we would come again if we lived closer just to switch it up a little.

favorite korean restaurant in sac area so far! they give you many tasty, fresh sides - kimchi, cucumber, bean sprout, pickled veggies, etc. all are sooo good! we almost always end up getting a refill on our favs. I go for my usual tofu soup + mackerel or fried flounder, it's a must try! so comforting. only downside is, sometimes service can be slower on weekends but are super kind (ie, 1-2 servers/waiters for the whole place) but it's alright/understandable. they're a mom/pop shop it seems. I bring my friends here and they've tried other things and say it's good too!

Modurang has been on my list for ages, and I finally got a chance to try it with my friends! We ordered the Galbi and Cold Noodle combo as well as Mandy as an appetizer. The food came out very quickly and the server was very nice. I thought everything was very flavorful and cooked nicely. I also liked that they gave you the side dishes to munch on throughout the meal. If you're looking for a good Korean restaurant, I would highly recommend Modurang and would definitely return to try other dishes.

I've been here 4 times now and every time the food is amazing! Everything I've ordered has tasted truly wonderful and authentic, and every meal comes with tons of little side dishes that are all to die for. My favorite Korean restaurant in town.

This is the second time I am coming to Modurang family Korean restaurant. The food never misses and always hits the spot. My friends and I order the seafood pancake, beef hot stone bibimap, pork soft tofu soup, jjajangmyeon, and beef bulgogi. Every dish was delicious! I would definitely come back and so would my friends! Service was attentive and friendly as well!

Hands down my favorite Korean restaurant in the Sac area! Their banchan is some of the best I've tasted and I always love how dining in the restaurant, there's cubicles/partitioning amongst most of the tables so it's more of a private experience for your party. My favorites to order: soondubu jjigae with pork belly, bimbimbap, and mul naengmyeon (cold noodles) in the summer. I still have to try their yangnyeom gejang (spicy raw marinated crab) but it looks promising. Pricing is worth it compared to other Korean restaurants! Everything feels very authentic and made with family love. I also appreciate their to-go packaging, if you're ordering a stew they put cardboard in the bottom of the bag and securely pack it so nothing spills. I'm not sure if the entire staff is family only but definitely be patient if you're coming in on a busier night too - they're all lovely people, please be kind!

Every time me and my family come here, it's always amazing. The service is great, they are friendly and quick and I have never had a problem with an order. The Kimchi Pancake is spectacular and no place comes even close to the taste at Modurang. We drive forty minutes just to get a taste of it. It keeps you full and you'll be wanting more. An amazing restaurant would recommend it to anyone. Will be coming back soon!!

They are kind of pricey compared to those Korean restaurants in LA. But, the food tasted good. I may come back for their bibimbap again.

Most of the restaurants closed early. Luckily on the way home we found this Korean Restaurant. We didn't really wait for too long I just wanted to have some spicy soup and chicken. Craving satisfied and I was surprised they serve soju! Most of the family Korean Restaurants don't have license for alcohol iykwim. Place was really clean and employees served food really fast! Thank you!

It was Me and my wifes 12 year anniversary. My wife been craving for korean food so we came here to Modurang. When we arrived, the place got this Sarangbang vibe. The place was packed but not crazy busy as some customers were already leaving. They quickly seated and gave us drinks which was good. we sat there figured out what were going to order. We waited and waited about 30 minutes later nobody ever came took our order so we just got up and left. . Very disappointed. We may come back one day when perhaps they are slower. Unfortunately we werent able to make our dinner special here.
